The Morakniv Bushcraft Stainless Steel 4.3-Inch Fixed-Blade Survival Knife with Integrated Fire Starter and Sharpener is an indispensable tool for a variety of outdoor, hunting, emergency, and tactical applications. Featuring a razor-sharp, burly 1/8-inch (3.2 mm) thick stainless steel blade that bites into surfaces without getting stuck, and scandi grind to prevent slipping, the knife is suited to a variety of tasks. An ergonomic handle with high-friction rubber grip gives maximum control, for safe and easy use. The included plastic sheath with belt loop holds the Morakniv Fire Starter and also features an integrated diamond sharpener, making it easy and convenient to sharpen the blade. The all-weather fire starter strikes easily on the ridge-ground blade spine, yields approximately 7,000 strikes, and produces a 3,000-degree Fahrenheit spark, even when wet. Total length of the Morakniv Bushcraft Stainless Steel Survival knife is 9.1-inches (232mm), and net weight is 7.5 oz. (212g). Mora Knives are made from high-quality Sandvik steel, ideally suited for marine, fishing, outdoor, and construction applications, where knives see hard use and are commonly exposed to dirt and moisture. The chromium content of stainless steel makes it less susceptible to corrosion and oxidation than carbon steels, giving knives a longer life overall. Morakniv has been manufacturing the highest-quality knives in Mora, Sweden since 1891. Limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.

Excellent light-medium duty buschraft survival knife
I have both versions, black and orange, of the Mora Bushacraft Survival. the black is carbon steel and the orange is stainless. They are both great knives for the money. The blade in the orange Bushcraft is just a tad thicker. They both have hefty blades and will perform light to medium tasks very well. They both come in the same package with a very good sheath, a sharp spine for fire starters and a sharpening steel plate.I would like Mora to make a stainless steel version of the Black Bushcraft. I think the stainless steel version is a better option for EDC. I use the Black Buscraft as an EDC. It works well. Would like to see it on stainless steel.I prefer these knives over the Garberg, Mora's flagship knife, for two reasons, cost and weight. I think the Garberg is too expensive for what it is. Also it is almost double the weight of the Bushcraft. I think for the money and the weight the Bushcraft can do 95% of what the Garberg can do, so it is just a better buy.I would highly recommend any of the Buscraft line knives. They are a great buy.The orange Bushcraft is great for hikes and going in the bush because the orange color is almost florescent and it is easy to see in the grass. If you are looking for a strong, sharp, long lasting knife and economical, either one of the Bushcraft knives will work. The black is more subdued and fits the EDC role better.

Great tool!!!
Great toolI’ll add my 2 cents to the thousands of MoraKniv fans - count me amongst you!!The sheath is solid, hold the knife firmly, I have no fears that the knife will come out accidentally. Very solid affirmative “click” on insert and requires a pretty firm tug to unsheath. Very satisfied with the sheath. The holder for the ferous rod is also smartly designed and again I’m sure it’s secure. The integrated stone is a nice touch - sure it’s small and not as easy to use as your large stone on your bench at home but in the field this is great - I had no trouble touching up my edge after use. The knife itself feels great in my hand, balanced, and sufficient but not excessive weight - very practical- the grip is also very well thought out. I wear an xl glove and this knife is a good fit - could be fatter for me but it’s not a custom knife and my hand didn’t tire after using the knife for a few hours. The top of the knife is a square cut to allow good strikes on the ferous rod - it works extremely well and I’ve started several fires with just dry shavings the knife produced hit with a shower of sparks. Note though that if you don’t want to start fires with the ferous rod then perhaps this isn’t the knife for you as that back edge is actually sharp. When working with a knife I often have my hand or fingers on that back edge and I found that quite uncomfortable with the ground edge - not a defect at all, it was designed that way - just a trade off - want to start fires or use both hands on the blade??? The ferous rod itself is the traditional size and has a useful “handle” for your thumb and finger. Once you get good at using these the smaller the better.Great knife, glad I have it - I have several more on order!

GREAT affordable light-med bushcraft knife, well thought out
I was carrying the Morakniv light my fire edition. I went to this variation so that I could do batoning thanks to its full and thicker tine. The sharpener is a nice bonus as are the different connection options. As with all Moraknivs the design is well thought out and the craftsmanship great. I used a Japanese whetstone to put a razors edge on this puppy and so far it has held that edge through batoning and usage (I just strop it here and there). The fire starter is great and solid, the 90 degree backbone of the tine allows simple sparking of the ferro rod . I like the holder for the firestart, though you may want to take advantage of the hole they put in it and put a loop of string (though I think it would be almost impossible for it to work itself out). The blade itself slides into the sheath and once clicked you know it will never come out without intention. My only issue is that it is harder to pull out than the Morakniv Light My Fire Edition which had a thumb rest to gain leverage from when removing the knife.I have an OKC Blackbird SK5 bushcraft knife in a HedgeHog Leather Works sheath that is my heavy duty bush craft knife, but I can't carry that in all the places I do this Morakniv

One major flaw
For the money, it's an excellent bushcraft knife, and will resist rust better than its black counterpart. The grip is excellent, as is the sheath. Unfortunately, the stainless steel Mora uses is prone to minor edge chipping (I've had two of these and it has occurred with both of them).

A very compelling bushcraft and survival package.
I am very impressed with this Morakniv bushcraft/survival package. I use this for wood processing and general camp activities and it is ideal for the job. The orange color makes it hard to lose (even by me...) and the stainless steel Scandi-grind blade (Sandvik 12C27) is corrosion resistant, holds a good edge and is relatively easy to sharpen. It throws brilliant sparks with the fire steel provided and has a strong tip for prying and drilling. The thick blade stock (3.4mm) is great for battening. It has a partial tang to save weight without sacrificing strength. The handle is plastic with a rubberised coating that makes it very comfortable to use for extended periods. You can't use the butt of the handle to hammer anything because it is plastic. I have hunting folders and heavier blades and axes for chopping, but this knife falls perfectly in the middle. It is excellent value for money and is preferable to the Mora Black IMO because of the total package. Solid buy recommendation.

Brilliant outdoor knife
Great product that ticks all the boxes for use at forest school or at home to light a fire or BBQ. Multiple options to secure to belt loop or trousers. Good looking, bright coloured to not be lost in grass. Very satisfied

Mora Bushcraft Survival
Danke
