Great pack!
Have used this pack multiple times, and what can I say... I LOVE it. I am 5'9 and the SM/MD fits my long torso perfectly. Lots of places to adjust to make it fit well. Extremely comfortable even when loaded. I agree it does squeak, but doesn't really bother me. Osprey really does make a great hiking pack. I wouldn't buy anything else in the future.

Squeaks, but still the best daypack for anyone with back pain
Looooooove this daypack. There were no reviews when I first bought this, but now that there are some reviews, it's true what everyone else says, the frame squeaks.Comfort: the main reason why I chose this pack over the tempest/talon (cheaper and most popular Osprey daypack) is because of the anti-gravity design. I have the 65L Osprey Aura AG and I was super excited when the AG version of the daypack became available. I typically get lower back pain when I go on hikes with inclines, so this daypack with AG design was perfect! It feels like you're barely carrying anything and it's verrrry breathable.Design: the 26L is perfect. If you're not carrying much, you can use all the straps to synch the pack. I used this bag as my personal item on my trip to Hawaii and you can fit a lot in this pack. There is a compartment for the hydration pack, a main compartment, sunglass compartment, 2 side compartments for water bottle or other things, 2 zip compartments on the hipbelt, a rain-flap compartment, a small front compartment, and a "shove-it" pocket on the front. My only complaint is that the small pockets of the hipbelt are sometimes hard to zip. The rain-flap and hydration pack comes with the bag. The hydration pack is 2.5L and has a magnet that keeps the spout on the chest strap.Pricier that other Osprey daypacks, but all the Osprey packs were 25% off before Memorial Day so I had to get this!

The Bad, The Good, and the Good-to-Know
The bad: Yes, it squeaks. Sporadically & quite loudly. At first it really bothered me, but I must be getting accustomed to it, now it's more of a minor irritation. The bigger problem is that after about 1/2 dozen day-hikes, the hydration failed! The problem is with the quick-connect feature, sort of an easy-release to separate parts of the hose, no water would travel past the quick connection and with the hydration bladder removed from the pack for investigation, I noted the water just leaks out of the quick connect. So for my last few hikes it's been bottled water...frustrating when I bought a hydration pack for the convenience of having the water accessible. The waist strap is also narrow, I'd like it better if it were a bit wider. The good: The anti-gravity suspension of the 26 is roomy enough all the essentials plus some; yet the weight is distributed in such a way that it's comfortable and I find it doesn't bother my back. This is absolutely what makes this pack a keeper for me. I wish I would have used a pack with this type of weight distribution sooner, it might have helped prevent my back issues. I also like the small zippered pockets on the hip-belt for small items I used to stick in my pant pockets. Another feature I really like is the magnet for attaching the hydration hose to the sternum strap, it not only keeps the hose/bite valve very handy, and probably a bit cleaner. The Good-to-know: This is neither good nor bad, depends on how you typically use your side pockets on your pack. The side pockets are designed so you can put a bottle or other item in either from the top of the pocket or an angled opening more towards the side of the pocket. Great if that item is a bottle of water, the side angled opening allows fairly easy access to that bottle. But, if you're like me and like to stick other supplies in those pockets, watch out, smaller items could fall out the side opening.Update: I ordered a replacement 'Quick Connect' kit for the hydration & discovered that the reason for the failure was that a small black washer on the male component that connects to the quick connect had disappeared/fallen off at some point during disconnection of the hose. Had I realized that perhaps I could have found another washer to replace it vs. buying the new quick connect.

Great Backpack
My daughter took this on a trip to Honduras. She loved the backpack. It took us a few minutes to customize the straps to fit her perfectly, but once everything was properly adjusted, it fit perfect and was very comfortable. The only issue my daughter noted was the water in the bladder had a 'plastic' taste. Otherwise, she loved the access if the pockets and how much she could carry in the bag. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Can't tolerate the squeaking
The pack would be perfect if it weren't for the squeaking. After using this pack on 3 hikes, I never want to go back to a regular hydration backpack. My back and hips usually hurt during and after hikes, but not when using this pack. The compartments are just right for a day pack. I can fit a rain jacket, lunch, extra sunblock, extra water bottles. I thought the hydration system was fine. I like the magnet that keeps the bite valve in place. Unfortunately, the squeaking is intolerable. When I'm hiking with a group of people, I don't want them hearing my squeaky pack. And when I'm alone, I want to hear the birds and sounds of nature. I do not recommend this pack to anyone until they fix the squeaking.

Great support, but faulty bladder
I finally broke down and bought a nice hiking pack, mainly for dayhikes to lug all my and my kids' stuff on easy-moderate hikes. This pack has been great, but I've had one big disappointment with it. After my second time of use, the Osprey bladder that came with it broke (see picture). It has a clip to keep the bladder from sliding down in the bag and the plastic part that you loop the clip through just broke, making this very nice feature ineffective.Otherwise, this bag has great support. There was some chafing near the hips and shoulders after a day of hiking in Zions, but now it's very comfortable to wear. I'll likely have to send it back though to get a new bladder, which is a bummer.
