Philips SHE8005 In-Ear Headphones for Mobile Phones

The headphones have nice design, but when I used them the ear buds were coming out a little bit and the middle part was bothering my ear. When it comes to sound its not too bad quality, but I expected a little bit better. 4 years ago I bough very similar headphones- same brand and I loved them. However, they were damaged and I though these would be the right replacement.

Haven't had a chance to use them too much, but in first use, they sounded very good. I really needed headphones with the sliding volume control, as I've had nothing but bad luck trying the gimmicky "one-button-does-all" solution that so many manufacturers try to use. If these hold up, and the phone-call quality is good, then these were a great buy.

Good sound, good bass, better than other headphones I have tried at least.But:1. you need to get from elsewhere the elastic/silicon buds. Neither one of the 3 sizes that come with the headphones would stay in my ear. Its not a problem of size, but rather the material is really slippery.2. essentially you are buying just headphones. The microphone is totally uselless. Everyone complained that they cannot hear me, so I always had to unplug the headset to speak on the phone.3. after less than 2 months of using them the left headphone stopped working. The problem is in the connection just next to the jack, since if I move/push the cable at that place I can get it to work for short bursts of time.4. the analogue volume slider is inconveniently placed seperately from the microphone/button clip.I would not recomend this headphones even to my worst enemy.Thanks

The sound quality on these earphones really is amazing, if I'm listening to acoustic music the tiny delicacies of the guitar come through great, if I'm listening to electronica the atmospheric sounds envelope my head and if I'm listening to some down tuned heavy music the lows punch through great especially with a little EQ on the device in question. I really was impressed with these, however I've only rate 4 stars that is because (as with all headphones I've had) one ear has stopped working! However they have travelled extensively around the USA with me and I had purchased them back in late May so they have out lasted the usual pair of Skullcandy. If one had not stopped working they would get a 5/5!

Good quality sound and comfortable to use. A good feature of the package is the inclusion of a 3.5mm plug adapter, which fitted the Star N8000 smartphone.

I'm editing my previously positive review, as a couple of months after I bought these they broke - sound completely went.

Very good at a excellent price

Well, I have used many earbuds in the last 10 years but nothing quite like this. The sound is refreshingly crisp, detailed, natural. The bass is delivered with precision. Understandably, those who like boom boom bass would have some niggle with this item. For me, the bass is just perfect.There was once a belief that volume control and microphone somehow messes up the quality of the sound. Well, I would have dozens of them on this piece.The aesthetics and build quality is superb. But what counts most for me is the quality sound that this ear set delivers.I have read about issues with calls, but I haven't had any with my Android phones.A great product from Philips.

I spent quite a bit of time trying to find an in-ear headset that was comfortable, allows track control, good microphone, and noise canceling qualities for an Android phone. It was not an easy task as most sellers only stock iPhone products that are not always compatible with Android phones.When I found this in-ear headset, I couldn't have been more delighted. It works perfectly and ticks all the above boxes. Although the dispatch notice said I would have to wait for a few extra weeks for delivery, it arrived well before the dispatch date. And, after using them, I personally feel they are well worth waiting for if you have an android. Couldn't be happier.
