HP Spectre x360 15T 4K Touch Laptop with Vega M Graphics (1TB SSD | 10 Pro)

I did A LOT of research before buying this. EVERYTHING works perfectly, and the screen looks good. There is one MAJOR problem however. Apparently some of these HP models / products have a hardware defect with the fans. So there are only two modes now. Maximum speed, or completely silent. It glitches at startup, and as long as I have the laptop on, the fans are running at max speed. This is a problem, considering that I planned to use this at school, and don't want my classroom to sound like an airplane. Will be looking into a replacement through amazon right now, since this is a GREAT product, and I really want to have one that doesn't have a defect.

The media could not be loaded.  I have only had this computer for about two weeks now, but I am already in love! I’ll update this review if anything changes over time for people like me who like to look at the long term reviews over the fresh out of the box reviews.So far everything has been great! I do wish there were accessories available that did a better job at protecting the keyboard, especially in tablet mode, but that’s minor and something we deal with with every laptop. I am a full time college student, and I own my own business as a personal trainer. So, having something that can work well on the go is very important to me. I did a lot of research before making a solid decision, and I am very happy with the Spectre x360 15T! I like that I can switch it into a tablet, although that was more of an “ooooo!!!” factor over a deciding factor. I needed something that had at least 16GB Ram and 1TB SSD, and this fit. I also needed something that could run Microsoft programs without errors. My MacBook was ok, but I have always had a lot of issues running Microsoft office with it. Since it is older than 2015, it no longer supports office, and I have found myself glued to my desktop more than time allows for me to be there.My Spectre runs very speedily, which is something I really needed. My internet isn’t the greatest, but it picks up on the WiFi and loads webpages and journals like a champ!The graphics are amazing! My desktop has good graphics, but this computer beats it hands down! It makes me want to upgrade my desktop next! Haha!The sound is absolutely amazing! I am not sure how they did it, but when I have my laptop in front of me on my lap, it sounds like I have headphones in. The way the sound moves is absolutely amazing!The pen that came with my Spectre is nice. I don’t have a lot to compare that to. I have a Wacom Tablet with a pen, but the pen to it isn’t one that’s I could sync to this computer and try. It’s a much older version of the current bamboo pens.All in all I am very pleased with my purchase and am looking into buying a second for my husband to have for work and his art!

It certainly looks solidly built. In (admittedly short) use I have encountered no problems whatsoever. The computer runs hot, especially when it sits on a relatively smooth surface. I believe the air vents are blocked when the laptop is on a desk. The fan then gets noisy.

The laptop is excellent. The AMD Vega in the Intel processor is an excellent idea. I hope this takes off and more laptops start using the 8705G or future processors. I have no problems of heating, even when doing VR development or running video encoding tasks in parallel. I have also experimented with deep learning on the ROCm and it works fine on the laptop.

I will most likely update this once I get replacement. I ordered this last week, was guaranteed by Saturday. However it was updated to Monday. On top of that when I received it today, I was a bit upset as it was supposed to be signed for, however the UPS agent apparently signed for it himself and left it outside. When I did finally get it and unboxed it, when I plugged in the Power Cord no light, no power at all. I tried 2 additional chargers and it still would not power on or charge. From what I am reading this is a common problem, now I am waiting for a replacement, hopefully the replacement will work.

It's been 6 months since the latest update for Windows 10 (build1809) has been released and there still isn't a compatible driver for the video card, which causes the windows update to fail. HP still has this model listed as windows 10 compatible despite the fact that it will not update to the latest windows version. HP is claiming that it's not their problem if the update fails so they won't warranty the laptop. This is a high end laptop that HP isn't standing behind, so I guess this is the last HP laptop I'll ever buy. You're better off buying a microsoft surface book, at least then you'll get windows updates.

I absolutely love this computer but it does have it’s problems. After about a month of use the computer refused to find any wireless networks. After I reset to factory windows it was fixed for about an hour. I then had to spend an entire night resetting windows and running into a black screen after login for 15 minutes until I could get to the bios update which seemed to have finally fixed it.I will say that I have absolutely no complaints with the rest of the laptop. The screen has great colors and the 4k display makes all the difference. It is a very powerful laptop that can do just about anything I need it to do. I would recommend it to anyone that knows what they are doing when it comes to computers.

I bought this as a replacement laptop for my old, old Dell. I had wanted a dual-function, used as a tablet and laptop for both school and work.6 weeks after receiving, started to see a faint horizontal shaded line about a third of the way up the screen. Didn't have the brightness on 100% - more like 80%. Over the next month, got worse and worse. Finally started to see vertical lines as well.So after 3 months of use, the LCD screen failed completely. It is now back in the hands of HP support to have a new screen put on. They're extending my warranty to a year from when I receive it back. Hopefully I won't have to send it in again.Last words: Buy Dell.

Must buy for architects and designers. Supports all software and doesn't lag. HP support assistant is helpful too.

No words! Amazing product. Battery life, screen quality are pretty amazing. Love to use it.

The battery life of the latop is very less. The batter lasts for 4 hours only. This is real problem during travel.

Great product. Came a day early. I've used it for a little while now and have encountered no issues. The speed is excellent and is very ergonomic.

The Seller is Purchased Laptop from Out of Country and selling in India. So you will not Able to Extend the warranty After A Year. Even Amazon also conformed and they are Supporting for Seller not the Customers.
