The best thing $100 can buy you for headphones
Bose SoundTrue In-Ear Headphones for Samsung Galaxy Models, BlackSo I'll be straight up with you, these were a pair of headphones I bought back in 2015. I went to school in the city, I worked out, played basketball, ran, biked, and chilled watching movies and listening to music. I spent a few days looking for something that would stay solid and securely in my ear. Give me great sound quality. Would feel comfortable and nonexistent in my ear. I have sensitive ears and prolonged exposure to in ear headphones causes my ear to irritate me and itch. So because of this I was willing to shell out some money to get a decent pair of headphones.I hesitantly bought these headphones because of it's price, but they promised me good sound quality and comfort above all else. They also boasted that they fit securely in your ear and they will block majority of the sound from outside. The price demanded me to assume they will not break nor will they malfunction. It is very safe to say, these headphones have lived up to every promise they made.Whenever I would wear these headphones, putting them in my ear and removal was easy. They snuggled in my ear and didn't give me the impression that there was something in my ear at all. They felt as light as air in my ear. Many in-ear headphones have some tricky methods of putting them in, you need to push them in slightly or heavily, to get them in. Or, as most people might experience, the headphone's foam/in ear cushion part gets removed in the pocket, while you detangle the wire, or in any other way. These headphones, though susceptible to getting tangled in the pocket, never lost their ear pieces. They stayed securely and strongly to the headphones. I never lost them. I never had trouble putting them on. I worked out in these, cardio, weights, etc. and never did they come out unless they got caught on something because I didn't tuck them inside my shirt. When I played basketball, I would be able to play with them on and they would stay snuggly fit even through the sweat and heavy body movements. The sweat never deteriorated the headphones in anyway. the sound quality was still good and the secure feeling was intact. Now to analyze the music quality. I am not a heavy volumed listener. I like mine at a range where I can listen clearly, but those around me can't really. I used this to also talk on my phone handsfree. The music quality was great, I tested the headphones with Bohemian Rhapsody, a song that boasts multiple different ranges of bass, treble, and pitch. The perfect test song. The headphones performed very well. I used to go to school in the city of Chicago, in downtown. I would hear cars, buses, trains, construction, etc. these headphones did a very good job of drowning out the noise. Though the headphones weren't 100% at it, I would say at least 65 to 75% of outside noise is drowned out when listening to volume ranges in 60 to 85% range. If you have the money to put out for headphones, these will be a solid buy. You will not be disappointed. I have been using these headphones for 2 years straight. They are my main headphones, i always wrap them up and put them in my pocket. I don't use a bag or anything when I put them in my pocket, they go in as is. They tangle and I spend some time detangling them. And as you can see in the pictures, they are starting to tear, AFTER 2 YEARS. Don't get me wrong, even though they tear, they still work. Granted the volume buttons don't work anymore due to the volume buttons breaking off. The sound still works, the mic still works, the headphones still function at 65 to 70% of their capacity as they did when I first got them. I have been extremely happy with these headphones. If I had the opportunity to buy from Bose again, I would.

Disappointing and certainly nothing I would recommend.
I have been looking forward to seeing first hand if these or Bose is "advertisement" or "quality". So if you want an unbiased review, here it is..... I have used OEM and cheap earbuds all my life. The nicer set I would use is the Samsung set that came with my Samsung S5 phone. (Picture attached.) Below you will find my pros and cons list and the my final opinion.Pros-Nice zip up Bose box to keep them stored in. (I do have to ask why it was so big.) I would rather it be closer to the size of the headphones for pocket portability.-They feel nice, come over as well built and look stylish. (Long term and more use may move well built to cons. But for now it is a pro.)-The inline controller works well and just like other smart phone ear buds I have used.-They include a clip to use to assist with keeping them in place during physical use.Cons-Cost. For $115.38 which is the current price, I feel cheated as a customer and wish I went with a different brand.-Sound quality. I realize Bose is not known for a deep bass or a "thump" and rather for a smooth and crystal clear detailed sound, however, these almost seemed to be void of any at all which was disappointing. (And as some others have pointed out, when you have ZERO bass, you should expect nothing less.) I was just hoping for a mix. A little bass but still the crystal clear detailed sound.-None of the ear pieces seemed to be what I needed or maybe could benefit from a better design. The included ear pieces did a fine job of keeping the earbuds in my ears and they did feel very nice and light, however, I got a much fuller, cleaner and more depth full sound by adding slight pressure to my earbud with my fingers. Since I will not be walking around or using them with my fingers putting pressure on the ear buds, I think some investigation needs to be done to get that fuller sound without applying any pressure.Final Opinion.Sorry to say, my $20-30 Samsung OEM earbuds outperformed the BOSE hands down in sound quality. The Bose won hands down in terms of looks, fit and build design. Shame I could not combine the quality I have with Samsung to the design of the Bose. I wish I would have tried other earbuds such as the Audio Technica line up. Took a risk based on reviews and the advertisement of quality and was surely disappointed! Win some lose some.

Great for Android Devices and Great for use with Xbox one Stereo Headset Adapter.
So far these are great in-ear head phones, I have used these in my Samsung galaxy S3 and have had no complaints regarding the microphone quality. When using these in-ear headphones to listen to music I feel that the music sounds fantastic, there is a bit of lack of bass, but once I got used to it I began to appreciate all of the other subtle sounds that I couldn't hear before in my previous in-ear headphones.Another benefit of these in-ear headphones is that they can be used on the Xbox One in combination with the Xbox One Headset adapter. I must say, they sound much better than the Xbox one stereo headphones that I've purchased in the past - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IAVDQCK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The main reason I bought these headphones was because traditional over the ear headphones tended to add discomfort due to my glasses. So I bought these to use on my Xbox One as a microphone and stereo headset and they work better than I ever imagined for this purpose. I have no complaints about my voice quality when playing online and I can hear sounds that I havn't heard before when using the Microsoft brand Xbox One Stereo Headset. My only complaint is that the in-ear headphones only come with three sizings and none of them seem to be comfortable for over 1 or 2 hours, which is a problem if I am using them for gaming. I've recently discovered that once they get into their natural seating position in my ears that this is no longer a problem.
