Actually got this a year ago for my brand new Kia Forte i put it on the hood after I went to change the wiper blades....the blades actually scraped the hood when lifted up (stupid design...if you open the hood first they won't scrape). Lesson learned too late though, I was upset scraped paint off my brand new car. So dealership gave me touch up paint then I bought this and put on hood to prevent it from happening again. It's been a year now and still looks new and has stayed in place and serving it's purpose.

I use this on my bed in my camper The plywood edge was rough and would catch our shins as we moved around. I installed this on the edge and that problem is no longer there. The adhesive while strong was not enough to hold it in place with a mattress on top moving around so I did have to staple the edges every 3 to 4 in to hold it into place which was not a problem. It fit the 5/8 plywood perfectly It installed really quickly I just had to cut a v out of the corners for the 90°. It looks good and it keeps us from scratching ourselves on the rough edge of the plywood. It's worth the cost.
