Good stuff (see before/after pics)
Good stuff. I attached some pictures - both shoes were worn and not cleaned for about a year, then I used this stuff on one shoe and compared. As you can see, this keeps your Docs in good condition, looking clean and dark like new.It comes with an applicator pad that's a bit like a sponge. The balm itself looks white-yellow in the can, but goes on clear, like chapstick. All you do is rub it into the shoe - it doesn't require buffing or polishing.

Water AND Puke Resistant Miracle Polish of Magnificence
I put this stuff on my Docs every week and it keeps them really shiny and moisturized, protects them amazingly well. But I digress!I went barhopping for my birthday and got WHITE GIRL WASTED. The sloppiest. Like the drunkest I’ve ever been in my life. When security threw me and my friends out out of the bar because I was a menace to society, I was sitting on the sidewalk and I threw up like that scene in The Exorcist where she pukes all over the priest, there was some impressive range involved. But alas, my $150 Docs were directly in the line of Fire. Oh nooo! The next morning I woke up and had no idea where my pants were or how I got home. I was terrified to look at my boots. Almost everything had run right off them. One swipe of a damp washcloth and they were completely unscathed, even the laces.Water resistant, white girl puke resistant, shiny af and worth every penny. Buy this s***!

I love Sanita clogs & this balm keeps them looking good
I originally bought this for my daughter's Doc Martens, but think I use it more than she does. I love Sanita clogs & this balm keeps them looking good. It's so much easier to use this than regular shoe polish because I don't have to concerned with color. This works on any color & the container is larger than most puck tins of polish. Speaking of containers, the way this one is designed with a tray to store the applicator sponge in it is simple and genius.

Best and easiest leather preservative to use by far!
nice formula. I am using this balm on three pairs of boots currently, two p[airs of Dr. Martens and a pair of Chipewas. FWIW this is my 2nd can of this balsam, the first can I bought from Dr. Martens representative here in the U.S., then when that can was empty, I saw where Amazon carries it so I bought it from one of their trading partnersThe way I use it is after I clean my leather boots I rub on a small amount but enough to cover the leather, then I work it in with the included sponge, but just wiping mostly. I let the boots sit over night then the next day I brush the boots with a horse hair shoe brush. I've found that by wiping down my boots after every time I wear them (end of the day) then using the balm, I have no need for shoe polish. This balm keeps the leather supple and they look like they're polished often, but they're notThis may seem like a lot of work but it really isn't. I wear clean clothes daily, why not clean footwear? What's best about this balsam is the formula is not stiff like most boot leather preservatives, plus using the way I do, the boots stay waterproofed, water just rolls off and is not absorbed by the leatherFWIW when I initially bought my Dr. Martens boots and used this balsam on them, I placed the boots in front of our wood stove in the living room, to help the leather absorb the balsam. A subsequent application, I didn't have the stove going so I used an electric hair dryer to heat the boots up after applying the balsam. IMO this is a good technique to get the leather to absorb the balsam. I've also rubbed the balsam on the inside of the boots to help the leather soften. I can't say enough good things about this balsam, it's a very good leather preservative IMNSHO, and at 61 years of age, I've been around a long time using many other brands of leather preservatives and find this product to be the best I've ever used and experienced

Impressive Product
Excellent! Buy this stuff! I had just got a new pair of DM's and had worn them twice so far for a couple hours a day, trying to slowly break them in. Having broken in another new pair earlier in the year by wearing Dr Martens socks and just roughing it, I decided to order the Wonder Balm and coated my new Docs with the stuff, the difference was impressive and surprising. The next two times I wore the boots for 8 hours each day with no hot spots, rub marks, or general 'ouch' areas, I even gave the slightly older pair a coat of the balm just to protect them and spiffy them up. The Wonder Balm was recommended to me by the blokes at the Dr Martens shop, but on that day I felt a little bit skint, having just bought boots and socks....wish I had just spent the £10 on that day.

Not just for Doc Martens!
Shoes are expensive and we are very rough on them considering what we put them through.Bought this not just for my brother's numerous pairs of Doc Marten dress shoes but also for my uniform work shoes which are black. I'm constantly walking through puddles, dirt, rain as well as having stuff spilled on them. This made such a huge difference in both of our shoes. The leather is not only softened and rejuvenated but it removed all but the most major scuffs. His light brown Doc Martens look practically new and they're now protected from water and dirt. It darkened the colour when applied but after a day of being allowed to penetrate the leather they returned to their original shade with a satin soft finish.I'm also very much into horses and have used all sorts of leather polishes/ protectors. I don't want any synthetic waxes that will look good temporarily but dry out and ruin the leather in the long run. Most of them are from Europe as is this made in Spain-and much more costly. This is a phenomenal product at a great price. One container can do probably 9 pairs of shoes. Comes with a small synthetic applicator sponge but you can use soft shoe polish cloths as well to rub this into the leather. As a previous reviewer stated, it has a thicker petroleum jelly like texture, however it is only coconut oil, lanolin, and beeswax.
