SIM card worked great on our trip to Spain, Portugal and France. Make sure you save all the paperwork (including Amazon order#) and follow the instructions. Mainly used my cell phone for navigation and google maps and only used 2GB (out of the 10GB) after 10 days. Next time I'll just set the phone so my wife can tether off mine. I had an issue when we were in Madrid but noticed my phone wasn't set to roaming mode. Be aware though it ask you for the PIN each time you power off/on your phone so again keep all the items that came with it!

I purchased this MEWFI SIM card for an upcoming trip and followed the activation instructions exactly as provided. However, when I tried to activate it, I kept getting an error stating that my Amazon Order ID was not recognized.I reached out to MEWFI Customer Service through their recommended contact method, but they told me to contact Amazon instead, saying my order ID was not in their system. When I contacted Amazon, they were also unable to resolve the issue. This left me stuck between two companies with no clear solution, just days before my trip.The experience caused unnecessary stress and anxiety. If MEWFI relies on Amazon for sales, their system should properly recognize Amazon orders and provide better customer support. I hope they address this issue so future customers don’t go through the same frustration.If you’re considering this product, be aware that activation may not be as smooth as expected.

Easy to install in an unlocked phone. We have a Samsung S9 back up phone that we use for international trips and buy a local SIM card. (If you have a newer phone you can use an eSIM, which sadly we couldn't use). Having Verizon, it's a great way to avoid their now $12 a day Travel Pass. Just put your regular phone on airplane mode and use your unlocked phone as a mobile Hotspot. This way we hook our Samsung S20's through the S9 and we have plenty of data with the 25GB card. We used the local wifi when possible to preserve data, but at the end of our 12 day trip we had still only used about 6GB! We were very pleased with the SIM card.

Connection worked fine for the most part, but we would have some troubles as we moved around through Portugal, France and Spain. I believe our phones needed to be restarted in order to connect properly with a different region.

I have a dual sim phone, so I popped this sim in before I left, followed the instructions, powered the phone on when I touched down in Barcelona, entered the 4 digit pin and perfect! I had problems with my regular U.S. provider the first day or two, so this was perfect. It was far less expensive than using my U.S. carrier and it seemed as though the speeds were faster. I used this in Spain, Portugal and France. I believe that will all of the rideshares, search engines, facebook, etc I used less than 6GB in 16 days. I would do this again if even to have a back up for areas where my U.S. Carrier has a poor signal. If you have a phone with only 1 esim, just buy a cheap smart phone. Works great!

Make sure your iPhone can use a physical SIM card before you buy one. I could not use this product when I got to Europe. It did not work with the I Phone I have. I bought it before I left. The day after I got home, I tried to return it. I missed the return window by 2 days.

I purchased this card for my travel to Portugal, Spain, and Germany. However, I could not use it well in any of these countries, because it connected to internet very very slow that I could not use it to look at Google Maps when walking in any cities, and it also took a long long time to connect to any web pages. The only thing I could do with it was to order for an Uber, but it took a while to connect the Uber APP. What a shame!

This product is for traveling in Spain. Yes, you can use it in the EU, but that's like saying you flew to Spain to visit Germany. NO - This is for Spain. Orange sends ALL COMMUNICATIONS in Spanish. I called to get their push notifications in English - NOPE, THIS IS A SPANISH COMPANY & THE PRODUCT IS FOR SPAIN. Completely unclear from the way it was advertised as a "Prime Day Deal". Find an EU product if that's what you need. NOT THIS. This is for people traveling to Spain. It will work in the EU, but you won't get the amount of data or phone you thought you were buying.....
