I purchased this watch for my son. I was worried about getting him a watch due to his age but this one seems like it may work. It is simple enough to where I was able to easily teach him how to operate it all. His favorite feature is being able to take picture and it send it to people. He accidentally jumped in the pool with the watch and it survived so I am very happy with the product and that it is waterproof. Is it the great smart watch in the market, no. But it is definitely towards the top when I comes to smart watches with a focus on children’s use.

I would give no stars if possible. PLEASE READ!!!!! Very important! Do not buy this item. I am a tech savvy individual and mistakenly bought this based off the video calling feature. That said; when unboxing the watch and getting to know it, I began to see red flag after red flag a quickly noticed the security issues. Not only did it have issues pairing ( which it never did ) the website has false advertisements from the company claiming 24/7 support. However, through chat and call there was no support available . confirming all the red flags I saw during the boot up process, and the set up of the app. And just so you are aware I made two separate accounts and was not able to delete either with consistent error codes.I normally do not post however I didn’t want anyone to buy this for their kid seeing as it would be something but to keep them safe. After an hour of troubleshooting, I put the watch back in the box; in the car. Then went right to Best Buy to buy a Fitbit Ace which my child absolutely loves. and I do as well. and trust in the company that makes the watch.

It would get 5 stars, but it is a little confusing about how the info on the phone service is relayed.. I was under the impression I could use my own cell carrier. It says no contract, so I figured that meant use who you want. Nope. You have to use their service. There is “no contract” but without their service, the watch is useless.Functionality wise, and app wise, it works great. My daughter loves it and gps tracking is pretty accurate.

My son has been bugging for a smart watch for so long! This is the perfect start and nice way to introduce him into a higher technology. It’s a great way to keep an eye on my son as he is getting older and wanting a little more independence and eased my momma heart as well.It’s user friendly to set up and navigate even for the non tech savvy. It also keeps in some educational aspects and activities for my son which is always a win!I highly recommend as this product is affordable and effective! Plus it makes them feel cool!

We purchased the MyFirst Fone R2 Smart Watch for our little one, and it has been an incredible experience. It enables us to stay connected throughout the day. I can call or video chat with them anytime, and the process is incredibly smooth. The GPS feature provides me with peace of mind, allowing me to monitor their location, whether they are at school, a playdate, or simply playing outside.I particularly appreciate the safety features, such as the SOS button. My child is familiar with its use, which brings immense comfort to me as a mother. Additionally, the watch tracks their steps, which they find engaging. It has transformed into a fun game for them, encouraging them to stay active.The watch fits their wrist perfectly and is not overly bulky, which is ideal for smaller children. Furthermore, it is user-friendly, allowing them to operate it independently. This fosters a sense of independence in them, while I feel connected and secure. Without a doubt, it has been one of the best purchases we have made!

The instruction set up was not helpful and the GPS tracking is not accurate. When we are at home, the watch says my daughter is at the neighbors house or a block away. That doesn’t give me peace of mind, it gives me gray hairs. And she loves to listen to music but the phone does not allow you to download any apps to it. Disappointing in my book

Overall we like this watch. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t so hard to setup. I love that we can use GPS to track my daughter. My favorite feature is the “ Safe Zone.” With this I can put a barrier around a certain area (like her school) and the app with notify me if she goes outside of it. Another feature I found helpful is that I’m able to preset her texts so I always know what she can say to others. She has fun customizing it and I always get a message when she’s on the bus. I’m able to set a down time for when she’s at school so that no notifications or calls come in and disrupt her class. So far the watch has been very durable. No scratches or dings and it stays well secured to her wrist. This is a wonderful first step for our family before getting her a real phone.

We chose this watch for our 8 year olds first smartwatch instead of jumping straight into a phone. The Price point is great and our daughter was so excited when we handed this to her. I’ve read a lot of reviews that were challenged by the set up but I personally did not have an issue. The phone call quality isn’t the best and the video feature is completely pixelated. Battery also seems to drain quickly. My daughter did enjoy changing the watch faces and taking selfies and she felt so independent with her watch. One other issue we had was it would accidentally dial out a lot. While you control the contacts, she was still calling us on accident constantly. The GPS is great and had no issues. We will more than likely be upgrading to a different watch but first we’re using this one to see how responsible she is at taking care of it. Pros and cons with this watch and that’s why it’s just mid.
