Works with TS-453Be HD station like a breeze. Sometimes a hiccup. Not sure If I didnt press the button hard enough, which is possible since I press it all so gently even though theres a tiny click feedback on them. Maybe its the way actual NAS needs me to point the remote more directly at it. Or perhaps its a NAS lag feature. Nothing major though and well worth the money. I still recommend the wireless keyboard with a trackpad as some of the HD station apps just dont work with this remote. The more needed ones do so, unless you need all the apps in HD station to work then you may skip this and invest more into a keyboard or just get a keyboard in same price category as this remote is. I still recommend this, especially for media center in the living room. Works with plex so. What more you need, right? Go for it as long as your NAS is supporting the works of this simple handy little remote.

I used the hdmi port on my qnap once and thought this would be a neat idea, but the interface on the qnap just isnt very good. A dedicated android tv like an nvidia shield is a way better route for streaming the content to your tv.

This is a basic remote control device and works as it should.

Was happy and had high hopes, but once tried to use….. very slow, interface qnap for hdmi is bad. Even their Qmedia app won’t play 70% of my video or audio files. Had to use third party plyaers: vlc, mx for android, and if you need for Apple TV I use Infuse Pro. It’s a bit expensive $26 but play any video/audio without hiccups.

Het signaal van de afstandsbediening is te zwak, als de ontvanger naast je staat zoals bij mij valt de bediening tegen.

Da ich meine QNAP TBS-453DX via HDMI an unseren 4k-Fernseher angeschlossen habe, fand ich eine Fernbedienung zur Steuerung ganz praktisch. Leider liegt eine solche - anders als bei diversen anderen QNAP-Modellen - diesem Modell nicht bei. Was ich insofern nicht verstehe, weil es gerade bei einem flüsterleisen Gerät ausschließlich mit lautlosen SSDs bestückbar und mit winzigem Formfaktor wie dem QNAP TBS-453DX viel mehr Sinn macht, dieses im Wohnzimmer aufzustellen, als bei den "normalen" QNAP Geräten, die mit sich drehenden Festplatten und lauten Lüftern ausgestattet sind. Aber was solls, die 25 EUR spielen auch keine Rolle mehr und immerhin funktioniert die Fernbedienung auf Anhieb und ohne, dass man irgendwelche Setup-Orgien durchstehen muss. Daher 5 Sterne, denn die Fernbedienung kann ja nichts für die seltsamen Entscheidungen der Produktmanager bei QNAP.
