Q: Does it come with the 9mm bullet holder

You will be able to designate which caliber you want on the order from. It does not come with a variety of bullet pullers, just the caliber you order. It is a good tool to have on hand for reloading most any ammo.

Q: Would you buy this for a Dillon machine? In other words, my husband has the dillon reloader, and the dillon bullet puller is 29.95... interchangeable?

This bullet puller is designed only to work when striking the end like a hammer. I believe the one you are referring to uses collets and can be used in a reloading press. This one cannot be used in a reloading press.

Q: Does this work by grasping the case or the bullet? I managed to press a .45 acp so deep I don't think it could grasp the bullet.

it grabs the case - and you MUST tap the mallet on the end of HARDWOOD such as a chunk of firewood some times takes 40 or more raps to free bullet -- only had 1 I gave up on used it on maybe 50 over the last 3 months
