Good, sensible, helpful grip.
These pencils are excellent for improving writing grip in children with penmanship difficulties. They are cool to look at and don't draw attention. However I was confused on two counts; I didn't realise the pencils came with either a thick or with a very fine lead, and I gather that there are special pencil sharpeners for them which were never mentioned. The sharpener should be available to buy when you choose the pencil. Hard to know in particular how to maintain the fine lead, which comes with a flat-cut end. Hence 4 stars and not 5.

Excellent pencil which directly contributed to improved scholastic results.
This helped my son with the twin problems of posture and pressing too hard. The styling of the grip fixed his posture and the way the lead springs back inside the pencil if he pushes down too hard cured his issue pressing too hard.He handwriting was always good, but the complaints of a painful wrist stopped immediately. He can also now finish his schoolwork, something that was impossible before due to the self inflicted pain in his wrist.Four week after have this pencil, he was award his 'pen licence', and has moved on to a Lamy fountain pen. However, he keeps his pencil on standby for tests.I recommend buying two, one for home and one for school. Don't buy leads two or three containers at a time, buy a box of fifteen to get a discount from various retailers.

Shame it didn't come with a sharpener
The pencil would be a lot better & I would have rated it higher if it came with a sharpener. Instead I now have to shop around trying to find a suitable sharpener.

Easier to use than normal pencil
My 11 year old son likes writing with this. It hasn't worked miracles on his handwriting but I think he does find it easier to write with.

Best product for thumb correcting for growing kids
Best product for thumb correcting for growing kids.. Only problem is that the lead is quite thick.. So fine for smaller kids (<6yrs) .. I think..
