Konfidence Adult Swim Jacket (38-42" Chest)

This is a really good swimming aid. It is much more flexible and comfortable than any lifejacket-style aid which I have used which have either floated up to my ears or had painful crotch straps It fits both me and my husband. I use it with the strap and he uses it without as he has wider shoulders. You can adjust the boyancy to suit different activities by removing some of the "bricks". I remove the side ones which gives completely free movement of the arms. Good for the Crawl. It keepsyour upper body warm in the sea, like a 2.5mm shortie wetsuit. I find it prevents sunburn on my shoulders. The back is bright yellow which I like for visibility in the sea.

Well constructed and reasonably easy to use but I tend to lend a helping hand to my wife when getting into this and tightening things up.Supports an adult very well once in the water.

It is great but I still get the feeling of tipping over...me lacking in confidence I think. I was a very competent swimmer, a swimming teacher and lifeguard too but I had a major stroke just over two years ago so it's starting from the beginning with me. With only 1 hour disabled swimming time available it will be slow. One thing I learned...I definitely needed the crotch strap. I tried it first without but I had to keep pulling the jacket down.I am a 75yr. old very determined lady so watch this space! I bought a treadmill last week to get the old heart rate stronger! (walking only of course). My stroke occurred during open heart surgery so with both lots of equipment...used sensibly of course, I shall await my telegram at 100!!!

Helped me get the confidence to get into the pool with grandchildren. Fitted well.

Bought this as I need to exercise my legs only in the pool for hydrotherapy reasons. It's great! Well made, substantial but comfortable. Totally supports me in the water with no worries, so that I can fully concentrate on my legs. Not cheap but well worth the money!
