ACEBEAM EC60 Rechargeable Flashlight - 2000 Lumens, 659 Yards Long Throw, with The Long-Lasting 5000mAh Battery, Waterproof, Super Bright Handheld Flashlights

Okay so first of all this thing is impressive for its size. It easily lights things up 200-300 yards out. Typically from what I have seen you can get about half of what the manufacturer claims as far as beam distance and what your eyes can actually make out. Meaning the beam may make it 603 meters but your eyes most likely won't be able to pick it up at that distance. So let's go with the good firsThe Pros of Acebeam EC60-very compact-USB recharable and charges fairly fast-great spill with the beam lighting up around the hotspot very well-it is a 26650 light so it has about 30% more runtime than an 18650-great texture and anodizing and the tail cap threads are extremely smooth-nicest o-rings I have seen on a flashlightNow we go to any complaints I haveThe Cons-This thing gets HOT (which is to be expected for a light this size pumping out so many lumens)-Personally I would like a tactical switch on the back or the option to buy oneThat's all I can say about this light is throws great recharges in a few hours and is dependable so far I'd recommend it just BE CAREFUL WHEN USING IN TURBO OR HIGH MODE because of how hot it gets most of the time Medium seems to be plenty bright though hope this helped!!!!

Update:5/17/2017I have placed another order to try again, finally, I'm able to test this flashlight.First of all, it is bright white( Not Blue, Not yellow), it is the perfect color temperature for me. 5 star for the color.Then It has high values of intensity with 1200lms. 5 star for it also.Perfect size for everyday carry, I use it for work. 5 star for itI took off one star because it's durable and the bad experience for the first order.However, I think if it can stay two years, it will worth for the money.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------compare to other brand flashlights. this one looks like cheap make. I was able to run it on high one time. after that, it never able to turn on high anymore. In this case, I have thought the battery is bad, so I order a Fenix 4800mah. I charge it on 5v 1A then cool down for 30minutes. it still can not turn on high(Both ACEbeam and Fenix). I like the LED chip, I guess the driver can not support it.Now, It only can be on LV1 1lm and Lv2 180lm after a full charge.very disappoint on this flash light, so return it.Suggest other brands like Fenix, Olight, Nitecore. they are more durable.

The Acebeam 26650 battery does not have enough power to run on Turbo mode. Under Turbo, the flashlight will blink to indicate low battery even though it has just been fully charged. I took a Fenix 4800mAh 26650 and inserted into the EC60, the turbo mode worked perfectly. When I put in the Acebeam 26650, again the Turbo started to blink.Solution: I ordered Fenix 4800mAh 26650 cells and my Acebeam EC60 is finally working at 100%I really like the EC60 very much. The light throws with a clean, cool-white spot. The integrated charger charges at a measured 1.7 amp. This is great as most other flashlight with integrated chargers typically run at around 1 amp at most. Just wished I didn't have to purchase a competitor's battery to use in my EC60

After pushing the button several times it finally lit up and I was able to cycle through the settings 2 times before it quit forever.It's a shame because it is beautiful construction.

The led believes xhp35 hi from my acebeam ec60 is very powerful and reaches 602 mts. I like the beam of light blue q produces the light is elegant. I would like that in the future use a led believes like the xhp70 or higher and q in a small flashlight as the acebeam ec60 or ec50 exceeds 600 mts

It's everything I expected it to be, the throw is awesome. Very long range for such a small light. The battery life is great on regular modes and turbo mode. It just gets a little warm. Other then that, I love it!

This flashlight is the superman of all flashlights. It's the only flashlight you will ever need!

Here I am in 2021 reviewing a torch I bought in 2017. It's still going strong with daily use. I use it on a farm to shine across paddocks and it gives me the distance I need. It doesn't have a wide throw close up but its not designed to. It fits in my pocket and is lightweight. It is a bit heavy on the batteries. However, rather than relying on the one supplied, I have 4 more and have them recharged ready. I would buy again but no need as its working just the same as they day it was bought.
