Extremely Uncomfortable Fit
I returned the headphones after several weeks of use because I found them to be extremely uncomfortable to wear for more than one hour at a time. Specifically, the Yamaha headphones were very tight around my head and had an irritating fit around my ears. I ended up purchasing a far superior set of Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Canceling Over-the-Ear Headphones that are very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. In addition, the Sony headphones had the capability of connecting to 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously which is critical when using the headphones app on my mobile phone and connecting to my smart TV at the same time. This feature allowed me to adjust the noise cancelling capability, sound quality, volume, etc. while using the headphones with my LG Smart TV.

Just not for me
Having owned Yamaha’s prior two sets, I was really looking forward to these. Being a bass head, I was hoping more for a sound comparable to the E700A. Unfortunately, I found the bass lacking. This is not to say they don’t have excellent sound. I have never heard piano as crisp and vibrant on a set of headphones, as with these. Jazz was superb sounding. Instrumentation comes out crisp and distinct. With the multiple genres I tried, voice was clean, instruments sounded great, just not enough low end for me. Yamaha, it seems, is going after the audiophile market with these. The updated app allows for some tweaking. I just would have preferred if they gave the same sound choices as the L700A. I found the noise cancellation improved and great for around work. I really hated to return these, but I really enjoy bass. I found an excellent alternative in the sennheiser momentum 4.

Shady
These headphones are hard not to rage about when writing a review. When you open the box they come with a paper stamped by a real person to authenticate quality. You can’t enjoy whatever quality they do have because they are just too small. The seller’s pictures try to hide that detail so it is not Amazon’s fault. They do fit over the middle section of my ears as promised but the top and bottom 15%-20% are being pressed on by the foam of the ear cups. It’s very uncomfortable to wear for more than 45 minutes despite the band being looser than JBL headphones. When it comes to over ear headphones these are the worst of the worst.

Good quality and Not bad bass after aging
I just bought YH-E700B several months ago, because I impressed their earphone TW-E5B.Before buying this, I just expected that It would be similar E700A which has a good Bass sound. However, when I first used this, the bass was not tuned as well. So I tuned with Yamaha app but it was still not enough. But several weeks later, the sound was slightly changed, and the bass started filling. Now this headphone shows good sound quality. Actually, its noise canceling was not as good as Sony, and it was a little heavier than others, but I can suggest if you like Yamaha`s sound.

Hmm… not impressed.
The media could not be loaded. Sorry Yamaha, I love a lot of other products with your brand name on them but not this one. There may be decent frequency response on this headphone but they sound so flat and so uninteresting I don’t think too many prople will be happy with them.Major problem #2: the ear cups are simply too small. They don’t fully cover a grown person’s average size ears. What were you thinking exactly making this product? This is a flop, sorry to be harsh but that’s the reality.

Not nearly worth it for the price
At the time of reviewing the philips we're going for roughly 350 USD. Considering this price and the comparable headphones at this price, in almost no world can i faithfully recommend these headphones. The look of them is atrocious and not sleek at all, making it look like i have to tomato cans on my ears while also having the clamping force of 2 elephants on my head. I honestly couldn't wear these for more then 30 minutes without pain on the top of my head and ears. The sound quality of mostly subpar and the anc is maybe comparable to that of the beats studio 3. Overall i just wouldn't pick this over comparable headphones as the Momuntum 4s or sony xm4 as those provide a immensely better experience then these do!
