At last we've a fairly good idea where his phone is! This device is stable and small and allows the charging phone to stand up and be noticeable when charging instead of lying down under papers! Not sure if it would work as well with a thicker case - his is quite thin, but there are probably adapters!

This product looks and feels great, as described just when in use the base plate holding the connection wire has no lock so just falls off if not held and prevents ease of use when docking. Spoilt it for me and think could have easily been designed differently to prevent this.

I have one myself and love it. I have bought two to give as Christmas present as i think it is very smart on a desk.

I got this for my iPad but it's terrible for it - you can't really use the iPad whilst it's docked as it keeps tipping over. It's almost the same situation with a phone, although slightly better perhaps. The dock itself is cheap black granite like another review said, with hardly any white striations and therefore doesn't really look natural. The only thing decent about it is the cable which is nice...
