Q: Are the RCA leads on this turntable hard wired? or can they be changed to different ones?

Yes they are hard wired. You can change the wiring although this involves soldering - had to completely rewire mine as wire broke in tonearm (my fault). Although my turntable now has new RCA and a ground I don't suppose I would have done this if cable had not broken. I am very pleased with the turntable both pre and post rewire.

If the amplifier has a phono stage ( RCA connection marked phono on back) then you are fine with that. If there is no phono stage on your amp you will need to buy a phono pre amp. A lot of used amps have phono stage as do many of the amps being sold now - double check the specifications and additionally there is often a photo of the back of the amp so you can see the phono connection.

Stunning, solid and sounds amazing.

I bought this turntable after weeks of Googling and watching YouTube videos. This is my first turntable so I don't have much to say other than it's fantastic looking, solid build and sounds amazing! After reading into turntables a lot I quickly understood that certain models were no go (Crosley, some cheaper Sony's and Pioneers etc) and after asking on a forum full off audiophiles they said it was a great turntable for the money and I can safely say I'm really really happy with it!!I've uploaded some photos as I don't think the ones on the page give it enough credit.

It's a Rega with a NAD badge/tweak and a great bit of kit.

It's basically a Rega Planar, but for the same cash and being a ponce preferred to have a teeny NAD badge.Great bit of kit at a good price, worked out the box with no fannying around.
