Worth a go as an egg substitute (but it's not for me)
No problems with the seller or the quality, so this isn't a negative review: VeganEgg just isn't for me! I was pretty excited to see it turning up in YouTube cooking shows but, for me, it just doesn't taste or feel anything like egg - black salt or not. Plus, making it up is a little finickity (ice-cold water etc). I'm disappointed, but I've made peace with it - I've found silken tofu hits the spot for scrambling. I've still got most of my 2-box initial order, which at this rate will last me forever (probably just as well given the cost - which is the other negative factor).

scrambled egg...
i love making scrambled egg with this... chilled water, this, salt, pepper, black salt, basil, yeast flakes, and sometimes i even throw in some tomatoes 1st before adding this mix to the pan - delicious !!! and i don't fry it until it's dried out either, i cook it until it comes together and forms a nice soft fluffy scramble... it's also a bit more filling than when using normal eggs, so the max i go up to is about 1.5 servings per person...

Great consistency, but.........?
I've not eaten eggs for about ten years now and I was salivating at the prospect of scrambled eggs after reading some of the reviews for this product, however following the instructions and several attempts later, no egg tasting scramble! Great for quiche with lots of extra flavorings though and it works very well in cakes and omelettes, but you will need to use stronger additional flavors than usual to make up for the great consistency, but completely flavorless VeganEgg mix. Vegisan from Whole Foods Direct really helps, for the best flavor (so far) or a strong yeast bullion stock, cooled in the fridge and used instead of the recommended water works well in omelettes. Definitely a step in the right direction and I'll always happily sacrifice taste for conscience, but don't get too excited about this product, unless you've already achieved a black belt in flavor enhancement.
