Brilliant
Really pleased with it. Bought as a replacement for the previous series AEG drier which was sadly irreparable. We’ve used AEG washers and driers for 20 years plus now, great machines. Takes a bit of getting used to being the heat pump version but now couldn’t be without it.The programmes take longer but actually I’m finding things are dry with still an hour to go on the clock. I find using the programmes dry better than using the timed drying function. The bed linen function is great, I can dry king size bedding without it wrapping up into a ball. Uses way less electricity. The only thing I miss is the heat being blown out into the room when it’s on!

AEG 7000 tumble dryer
I had to replace my old vented dryer which broke down after many years of use and I was totally bewildered by the new technology used in the new super efficient tumble dryers that take much longer to dry your clothes but cost a lot less to run. I have been surprised at how well it works and the drying cycle usually takes less time than stated in the program due to the sensors being able to sense when the clothes are dry. The only problem is that the room that the dryer is in needs to be ventilated as it pumps out warm damp air. It isn’t a huge amount but you can feel it in the air and it may cause mould on the walls over time so I leave doors open that the dryer is in to let the air circulate.

Energy Efficient and Quiet Dryer
I’ve been using the AEG Tumble Dryer for a few weeks, and it’s been fantastic! It dries clothes quickly without overheating them, and the energy efficiency is a big plus. The machine runs quietly, making it perfect for open-plan spaces. I also appreciate the sleek design and intuitive controls. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient dryer!

Super product
Much quieter and more efficient than my last tumble dryer Hotpoint I had for 5 years. It dries better all loads and good selection of settings although I find the Eco one is sufficient for most loads . Very pleasant with price and delivery team and the credit offer a real bonus at Xmas time.

Always Choose Extra Dry Programme
Wasn't overly expensive and works well enough while using about 60% of the electricity (in kW) as the 1990 Creda vented tumble dryer it is replacing. HOWEVER, to get clothes as dry as the old tumble dryer, you have to run every load on 'Extra Dry', particularly synthetics and mixed loads; it takes about the same time (45 minutes) to do this despite claiming it needed 100 minutes to begin with! (Microsoft minutes? :-)). We also have a concern whether it is going to cause condensation in our porch in Winter months - not being a vented machine.

A very good machine, you just have to understand the difference.
We’ve moved on from an old Zanussi condenser dryer that served us well for many years to the AEG.We thought long and hard about move to a heat exchanger type dryer, read lots of articles and reviews and decided to take the plunge. It works really well, clothes are dry and the functionality is great. You just have to get used to it being on for longer but it uses a lot less energy compared to our old dryer. The are some clever touches with my favourite being able to empty the water from a simple top tray, with the option to connect to a permanent drain. We have had the knotted duvet and bedding, which took some untangling, but by and large a lot of issues are not issues, it’s just adapting to a different type of dryer.

Broken Parts - Have your Camera Ready When Unpacking!
The item was delivered late as the courier rescheduled the delivery date. When it did arrive, the covering housing the tumble dryer fan was broken. This is quite an important feature of a tumble dryer and AEH advised it should not be used. My advice is to have your camera ready when you unpack things, check for damage, keep the packaging and contact Amazon as soon as possible if there are problems. I will check who the seller is in future
