Lovely kettle in so many ways but... I gave it a wipe over with a damp cloth today and the 'Fill level indicator scale' wiped clean away. I no longer have a guide indicating if the minimum fill level has been reached or if the maximum fill level has been exceeded, or indicating how many 'cups' it contains. Rang Kitchen Aid's Helpline and they said it is classed as a 'paint issue' so nothing can be done; no repair, no replacement. Never mind that the scale serves the function of helping to prevent the kettle from being broken by being boiled with too little water in it. Never mind that there is now no indication of it being overfilled, meaning I'm likely to end up with this happening and boiling water overflowing onto my kitchen worktop. Poor design and poor customer service.

It broke and cannot be repaired, and they have stopped making this colour. What do we do now with all the other kitchen appliances in the same colour? New kettle will look odd next to the mixer, toaster etc.

Beatiful kettle, but slightly unpratical due it weird sizes

Ich hatte ihn schon sehr laaaaaange im Blick und nun zugeschlagen und es keine Sekunde bereut. Tolles Gerät, super in der Handhabung und optisch eh ein Hingucker, wie alles von Kitchenaid!!!Wasser kocht sehr schnell, die unterschiedlichen Temperatureinstellungen sind Klasse.Ich habe schon einige Geräte von Kitchenaid und es wird nicht mein letztes Teil sein :-). Farbe weiß mit Pearl-Effekt ist top und passt überall. Meinerseits uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!
