Great fitness dvd-but prepare to work hard
Love this exercise dvd, I first used it to help loose baby wt after 2nd child 10yrs ago, and I've just ordered the dvd again as the previous one was a bit too well used. It take 1hr to do the work out, 10mins warm up, 40mins workout and 10min cool down, done regularly you feel and see the effects of the toning on the legs and tummy area. It is hard at first but over the weeks you notice how much your strength had improved.

Super quick workout that gets results. Well worth the price.
Excellent value. I have used his DVD ( the 30 day shred one) for a few years- initially to lose a few stone and again now to hopefully do the same. I’d say it’s baby weight but he’s 9 now.... Cracking little 25 min workouts that have you working your arse off. Easy to do on a morning before work. Jillian Michaels is excellent and talks you through the exercises. Music in the background is a bit crap and could do with being more upbeat and loud. Mainly To drown out my heavy breathing and begging for it to finish. You feel good after thigh and with a calorie controlled diet and doing the first stage of the shred DVD five times a week, I lost 3 and a half stone in less than 7 months and toned up loads. If I can damage this workout, anyone can!

This is a great dvd if you are serious about getting fit!It's perfect if you prefer a no nonsense "get on with it, no pain no gain" attitude to exercising.

Great workouts, tough but you'll be glad you did!
This video was great for my wife and I to try and pick up our fitness after a few months of inactivity. It was pretty tough to start with, but just about do-able, which is what we were after. If you've not exercised for years you will find this too hard, but if you have some basic underlying fitness you'll get through it.The 30 Day Shred comprises three increasingly tough workouts, 30 minutes each. The theory is that you will do the first every day for 10 days, then graduate to the second, then the third. In practice this may be a bit over-optimistic, both in terms of doing a workout every day (particularly if you want to exercise in other ways, e.g. running, cycling or whatever), and being able to move up after 10 workouts, which is a good thing, as video will last you rather longer than the 30 days recommended! The workout is a gread combo of fitness/cardio, strength, and abs, moving from one to the next just as you think you can't take any more. Each exercise is only a minute or so long. Even within each workout, most of the exercises have an easier and a tougher alternative depending on how hard you can push yourself.The Banish Fat Boost Metabolism workout is a bit longer, 40 minutes, and more cardio focussed for burning fat and calories.You will need some hand weights to do these workouts - for starters I'd suggest 1.5kg for women, 2.0 or 2.5kg for men, but it's good to have some slightly heavier ones to move to. You'll need a mat or rug as some of the exercises are on the floor. You don't need a lot of space, but you'll need to be able to reach up without hitting your ceiling!Jillian Michaels is a great motivator, and will push you to complete each exercise well without being too annoying. This DVD with two workouts is barely more expensive than either of the individual DVDs, so it's well worth it.

Worth every penny
Banish Fat, Boost MetabolismThis little gem of a dvd was hidden in my 30 Day Shred box and ignored by me for about a year! What a mistake!I’ve just started using this and absolutely LOVE it. A quick but intense workout is the best way to burn fat and get yourself going for the day or afternoon. And the best bit is the bite sized pieces. You can do the warm up and 7 segments in one 40 minute workout or break it into time segments depending on your day. I have just done the warm up and 2 segments - and then done a 10 minute Pilates cool down stretch. I’m now sweating and ready for anything. I’ll do a different 2 segments next time and will vary them until I feel like doing all 7 sections together.A BIG tip that I can pass on - if you do a low impact stretch type workout immediately after - say a yoga or Pilates stretch for flex ability - it will be 100% fat burning (Fitbit) whereas normally the stretch would be under the zone that burns fat (still great) but seeing the full after burn proves the metabolism has been stoked. I just love love these workouts. I’m now ready for my day.

Mind your knees!!!
I've only done the 30 day shred... and only managed 8 days before I could hardly walk!! My knees were so painful from jumping Jacks! She shouts at you confidently that 400lb people can do those and so can you but the strain on the ligaments at the sides of my knees was immense! It took 3 weeks to be fully healed by which time I'd lost interest. It's a shame because it was a good work out, she's not too annoying and you feel the results within a few days. I'm having another go now without jumping Jacks!

If you want a great value workout dvd that works buy this...
I have had this product for just about a month now, i'm very impressed. I have only been doing the dvd three times a week and combined with taking advice on my diet ( I ate far to many carbs like potatoes, rice, white bread and pasta ) i have lost 14 lbs in weight. Unlike other high intensity training dvd's at 10 times the price its not left me with painful knees and a gaping hole in my wallet, I have felt my fitness and stamina improve and feel this product is great for people of all weights ( I started this DVD weighing 19 stone 4 lbs ).

The best fitness DVD I have ever possessed
The best fitness DVD I have ever possessed, the workouts are easy to follow , explained very well and as they progress they do get harder but you almost feel you are there in the room with her , she's a tough trainer but extremely likeable. I've even taken to saying 'thanks Jillian; after the workout because I am already seeing results and she makes you want to succeed. I would definitely recommend it , it's amazing.
