Sony SRS-ZR7 High-Resolution Audio Multi-Room Speaker with Wireless Stereo and Surround Capability - Black

Excellent speaker and has everything like network streaming/Bluetooth/line-in and USB. Cannot fault this speaker for sound quality either, comparable to Sonos One (except for the lack of google assistant, but I don't mind).I have used Google Play streaming, bluetooth streaming and FLAC streaming and it handles it really well. The quality of FLAC over network is amazing.

Easy to use and, for the price, the sound quality seems extremely good (to my admittedly very amateur ears). It works really well when streaming music from bluetooth devices. We are also using it as a sound bar for a TV using an HDMI cable, and find that sometimes there's a very slight lag on the sound compared with the picture. Some people find this annoying. Personally, however, the standard of the sound is so much better than the TV's built-in speakers that I'm more than happy to forgive it.

Fantastic sound. Fills my room with ease. Rock solid WiFi connection and Google Cast works perfectly via both Spotify and Google Play Music.Songpal is not compatible with some of my android devices and it's a bit of a rubbish app really. But no need to use it. Speaker can be connected to WiFi network by pressing the wps button and once connected any firmware updates will be automatically downloaded and installed.Recommended.

Had to return, wasn't at all happy with the sound quality

Very good product from Sony! Love it, very practical! Sounds are rich, especially lows and mids. I connected it with my zx1 by bluetooth, need to buy a 3.5mm audio cable to connect so probably better sound for hi-res music!!

This is a brilliant speaker I use it with my TV by audio cable and it us excellent.Not too big that it cannot be portable and have used it away from home. Great sound

Very pleased with the sound.One gripe is with the LEDs on top to indicate status. I'm using the speaker in the bedroom. In standby mode there are 2 amber LEDs which are quite bright in are dark room (especially the power LED). When the unit is on there are 3 different LEDs emitting (blue, amber and green). I owned a Sony SRS-X77 (predecessor to this unit) and it was nowhere near as bright. Sonus products released a update to allow their users to turn the LEDs off completely. Urge Sony to do similar.Comparing the sound quality of the ZR7 to the X77, I'd say the ZR7 is a definite step up (and I liked the X77).5 stars if Sony release update to turn LEDs off.
