Park Zone PZ1900 Deluxe Dual Power Parking Sensor

I've had this one about 10 days now. It is not as good as the one I had years ago that ran on batteries that also was a Park Zone. (You have the option of using batteries on this model.) This one isn't consistent, so I don't park exactly where I want my car to stop. I want a lot of space in front, and enough in back so that it's easy for me to get into the trunk. Today it didn't turn red till I was up about a foot more than I like it to guide me. I don't know what they changed about it, but the old model was spot on every time. I took one star off for this reason.Update, 2/13/2020 ~ I don't know why they changed the technology from the original model, because the original was spot on, every time. The light would be green, yellow, then red, and I could park exactly where I wanted. After having this one a couple of months, I knocked 2 stars off. When I walk in front of it, the lights go on. This is OK IF you don't have batteries, but if you do, it'll only serve to wear them out much sooner. It also isn't as trusty as the original. I will see the green light flash, then it'll switch to yellow, then back to green. Next, it will flash red, then orange, and back & forth between those 2 colors. I drive in slowly as I approach, and it seems to get confused, as if I am backing up, then going forward again. How I would love the original! It was the best ever, but this model really needs to be improved.

I bought one of these, an earlier model, several years ago and was underwhelmed by the performance. Batteries lasted only a week or two and the distance from my car had to be constantly reset.. This newer model seems to be much better, the batteries are still working well even after a month. But it still has an echo of the earlier model in that the I've had to reset the distance twice so far so I don't 100% trust it yet, but the latest reset seems to be lasting....

We've used Park Zones for years in our two car garage, one for each vehicle. This version is updated and is supplied with an electrical cord for constant power, but, like the older model, it comes with batteries. We have used the batteries so far because outlets are not close to the mounting area, but we have had no problems with that. Note if you are replacing an older model of Park Zone, this one will fit the same mounting screws. It took me less that two minutes to install.

the pz parking zone pz1900 that you recently sent to me to replace the first one (that did not work)is ok. it does not work every time I pull my car into the garage but I will keep it

Bought an oversized pick-up. So I needed alittle help backing up properly. This system works. Easy to install because instructions are easy to figure out. Im happy with this purchase, hands down.

This Park Zone works with battery or plug in which makes it more versatile if you have plug in available in your garage.

Had one years ago. This is a replacement. Love it It works great.

I love how easy it was to install and set up. Also, the lights are brighter than the old one had.
