Bought this for my daughter who I surf with nearly every day. We live in Hawaii, so I am always warm, but she chills when it isn't blistering hot. She loves it. Says it is almost too comfortable like she wants to nap in the lineup. lolz. It is crazy soft, almost like a teddy bear. The fit is great, keeps her warm, and great protection from the sun. I'll buy more when needed.

I run very cold. I swim laps in an indoor pool that is on the cool side for me (78F), and even though I swim energetically, I am literally shivering halfway through my workout. Swimming, which I love, felt like torture. I wish I had know about this top years ago! I was skeptical, but it works. I used it twice so far. The first time I hadn't washed it yet so maybe it fit a bit looser so water did seep in and out through my workout, meaning that even though it helped, I still felt a bit cold (just less cold than usual). The second time was the charm! It was more watertight and kept me warm throughout a whole 50-min workout! Now, it does add quite a bit of drag. That takes some getting used to, and it will slow you down. It will also be a really effective strength training! I had hit a wall and now I feel my muscles are getting challenged again.For reference: I'm 5'2", 96 lbs, chest 34A, and got a Small. It fits me perfectly. I had to adjust the wrists and neck a bit as I am very bony with thin wrists, but once you are wet it stays in the right place.Also, when you put it on dry it feels sooo cozy and looks cool. I might even use it as a dry fleecy top one day... Fingers crossed it lasts and keeps working well!PS. Kudos to Amazon Questions and everyone who answered mine when I was deciding on buying this. So helpful!

If you want to keep extra warm in a lap pool this is the thermal rash guard for you!! It's waterproof and lasts a long time!!

I don't enjoy water activities unless it's super hot outside otherwise I'm always freezing. We took my kids to great wolf lodge (indoor water park) and I was so cold the last time it wasn't enjoyable. The 2nd time we went I had this and it was perfect. The inside is so soft and comfy. It dried quickly and felt good in the water. Other shirts I have tried always felt loose, lost shape in/after being in the water and then felt like I was just wearing soaking wet clothes the rest of the day but not this. I was concerned it was going to be too small when I first opened the package but it needs to be snug in my opinion-- fit just right. Glad I bought this!

The shirt was quite pricey, but it felt wonderful in the water, and took away any chill. The snug fit sport concerned me, but it loosened substantially when wet. If it weren’t so pricey, I would have purchased more but since they pretty much own this space, not quite a wet suit, but more than a rash shirt, I am waiting for prime days or hopefully a deal to come up.

Shirt is well made and dries very quickly. It definitely is not the fix I had hoped for the chills.. however, I wore it under my street clothes at Christmas when I went to an outdoor, evening event, and it worked really well. My core was toasty warm for 3 hours. As an update I have been wearing this shirt for swimming almost everyday for 10 months. It has really helped a lot. It has just now begun to get a bit stretched out, but seams are all intact and it’s ability to keep me warmer has not degraded. I purchased this one on sale— wish I would have bought several. Next time I will.

I snorkel a lot and tend to stay in the water a long time. Even in tropical water temps, you lose heat and get chilly. I tend to free dive down and need to maintain neutral buoyancy so I don't want to use a wetsuit. This "fortified" rash guard worked really well. I layered it under my old rashie and the combo was perfect. The O'Neill Thermo fits perfectly... snug on the hem so it doesn't float up, but with plenty of room in the shoulders for ease of movement. Big 5 stars on this!
