These work. And work great.
And I was skeptical reading they are for wasps, specifically, because I don't have wasps, but they are working great for bees. I hate killing bees but they decided, this year, to swarm around my hummingbird feeders. Perhaps the hurricane disturbed their source of food. They are Mason bees I understand and not Honey bees, and they don't sting (don't plan to verify that), but I still didn't want them scaring away or disturbing the hummers. There was a swarm of them. I put both out near the feeders with a weak sugar solution and in only one day I had dozens of drowned bees. In four years of putting out hummingbird feeders, I have never had bees before and I hope after the initial bunch is gotten rid of, if that will be possible, I can remove the traps. Mason bees are the best pollinators. My Ruby Throated Hummingbirds are happy, though, and feeding a lot.More comment: If it's not broken, don't fix it. Someone suggested that beer would catch more bees. It doesn't. Just some flies. Went back to sugared water and trapped a bunch of bees.

Got rid of our bee problem.
We bought these to catch bees as they were getting the sugar water from our Hummingbird feeders and bothered us and the Hummingbirds. We put them up but it was late in the year, they caught nothing. We left them out and bees came back for the sugar water. We put sugar water in these but more sugar than the feeders. They started catching bees and also small bugs on the flowers. These eliminated our bee problem. We feed the bees to our lizard so they did not go to waste.

Caught a few insects... but fed the wasps.
I had high hopes for these little traps. I have tried filling them with everything from apple juice to turkey meat. No luck at all. The apple juice caught a few flying insects. Meat products literally just fed the demon wasps. They flew in, gorged, and flew out meaner than ever. It may have actually encouraged the jerks to stick around.

They didn't work...
I bought these to trap Carpenter Bees because they were eating up my my siding. They didn't trap any bees for that matter. I ended up throwing them out after about 3 months of trying.

Doesn’t work
I have had these for several weeks. I have tried using beer, and also the sugar water and have not caught a single insect other than maybe two mosquitoes. I read the instructions and followed them. I am very disappointed. If I could get them to work I would give them more stars.

Works great. I keep one inside with wine in it ...
These really work. I ordered 4 of them and killed over 100 wasps in a weekend. I use beer in them. Works great. I keep one inside with wine in it for fruit flies

Complete and Total Waste of Money
I bought four of these based on glowing reviews on Amazon. My guess is the reviews posted were all phony. I tried sugar water, wine, beer and honey. Not one single bee. Very disappointed

Only Catches Gnats
I wish I could give these zero stars. I tried all kinds of attractant and nothing. :( We were aiming to get rid of some wasps but these things are nothing but a waste of money.
