i-Blason Galaxy S8 Case, Scratch Resistant Clear Halo Series Samsung Galaxy S8 Hybrid Bumper Case Cover 2017 Release (Black)

Completely turned poor engineering decision into a great phone. As I've been using my S8 for a couple months now, upon initial impression, I was completely in disagreement with the fingerprint scanner placement like many others out there. Without this case I stumbled around seemingly in the dark trying to find the light switch...fingerprint scanner. With the i-Blason Halo case, the problem is solved. The pricise cut out and fit of this case to the S8 is remarkable, with near perfection fit. With the cut out window just right for this phone for the camera, fingerprint scanner and pulse reader, with my right finger, the case provides feedback for me when I slide my finger precisely to the end to unlock my phone. The fingerprint reader on the S8 is super responsive and flawless, now that it's in its 6th gen or so. The iris scanner is cool and does pretty well, but it's not as precise and responsive as the now developed fingerprint unlock technology. So, I love this i-Blason case. The clear back design allows the full unimpeded beautiful view of the S8. The antislip rubber casing turned what is otherwise quite a slippery phone into a fully confidence endorsed hand held device. This case is worth every penny, and it has been the case of choice for me since I discovered it on my S6 Edge. Since then, I've ordered it for each of my Samsung phones starting with the S6 Edge, Note 5, S7, S7 Edge, S8, and newly Note 8. All of which carry the same precision and fit. It's all that good. As Mr. Quality and Value, I approved this case and confidently, approve the other iterations I mentioned.

After having tried several cases for my Galaxy S6 the i-Blason was my favorite, so I settled on this one for my new Galaxy S8 as well. For my S8 I also purchased Samsung's "Protective Cover". The Samsung cover is a minimal cover that protects from scratches for the back and sides and a good amount of grip while maintaining the sleek profile of the S8. It only has very minimal cushioning for drop resistance though. The i-Blason is a very good compromise from these ultra thin cases affording little drop resistance and the larger, very protective cases from makers like OtterBox. The edges of the i-Blason are cushioned and very grippy while the back is a clear hard plastic. It still maintains the nice profile and good looks of the S8, fits easily into the pocket, and doesn't weigh a ton.Additionally, the product was well packaged in a sleeve within a box, and a thin plastic peel away sheet on both sides of the plastic back. All the holes and buttons line up well, and the buttons press easily. Good attention to detail.

Just got this case for my S8. I wanted a slim case with good protection and this one does that very nicely. The fingerprint scanner is easy to access. I actually find it a little easier to use the fingerprint scanner, since it is now recessed a little and it's easier to tell by touch alone that my finger is on the scanner and not the camera lens. It works with my fast-charge generic wireless charging pad while in the case. The sides are very "grippy" so it's nice and secure in my hand and doesn't slide around easily if I place it on a table or car seat next to me. There is no screen protector, and I did not want one. Yes, the buttons are a little harder to press now, but I actually like it that way - harder to press one by accident.

Very slim and compact design. My silver back goes nice with the blue. Easy to clean case, also easy to install and remove from the phone. I work pushing heavy stuff around all day and in dirty places from dirt to grease, and it has stand up to the challenge. This is not a case to protect from high drops. The only problem I have are the buttoms are too hard to press. The Bixby i perfer stiff since I don't like it but the other buttons I would make them a bit softer to press.

This case fits the Samsung Galaxy S8 perfectly and allows you to place the phone screen side down and not touch the surface it is on thanks to the raised top and bottom. The only downside is that the buttons on the case are very hard to press and you have to hold both sides of the phone to apply the right amount of pressure. This is because the phone case itself is not flexible and is a hard plastic but other than this one downside the case fits great and protects the phone.

Nice snug fit really don't have an issue with the buttons some people say it's a lil hard to push the volume buttons but doesn't bother me at all i would recommend a screen protector though....camera fingerprint and heart rate sensors are or seems protected if it was to drop !

I wanted to love this case so much. First of all it gives a bit of a bumper to protect the curves, but not enough to make me feel secure (I have been using a Case-Mate glitter case that has an actual bumper that comes up more to the curve.). I had to cut the plastic film from the backside with cuticle nippers, why? Because I couldn't use my finger print sensor, the plastic was too thick. Once I did that I thought I might be fine. Nope. I go to lock my phone and it takes an incredible amount of pressure to be able to get the key to press on either side. I should not have to use muscle strength to change volume or lock/unlock my phone. If this was only on the Bixby key, that would be PHENOMENAL, but it is on everything.

It's OK, but just OK.It seems quite strong (for this type of cover... it obviously not designed for a serious fall) and seems to preserve the really beautiful look of the Samsung Galaxy S8. It doesn't seem to have enough on the bottom of the cover. Other covers have thinker corners that keep the phone from touching anything it is on.There are also tiny imperfections in manufacturing and one annoying problem: it is very difficult to press the buttons on this one. You need to use a lot of power to get them to work. It's a free workout to your fingers. In addition, it is think enough on the back to make it very difficult to use the fingerprint scanner.So if you have very strong fingers, this might be the cover for you. Really good fit, gives great protection to the Samsung S8, I am pleased with the quality, design and the feel in my hand.

I was surprised by it's quality and it's looks really nice for this price, gives some extra grip to the phone - sides are kinda rubbery coated

Wie es der Titel bereits verrät nutze ich diese i-Blason Hülle seit mehreren Jahren bei verschiedenen Modellen (S6, S7 Edge und S8). Meine Mitmenschen finden diese dezenten Hüllen schick und schlank und haben sich zum Teil, wenn ihr Gerätetyyp passt, sich die selbige zugelegt.Extreme Fallhöhen haben meine Handys nicht erlebt, aber das ein oder andere ungeschickte Fallen aus max. 1,2m schon. Es gibt keine Dellen und keine Kratzer auch ohne Displayschutz.Die Hülle sitzt wie angegegossen, lässt alle Mikrofon und Stecker freizugänglich und sorgt für eine angenehme Haptik.Diese Hülle bietet für mich das optimale Verhältnis aus Schutz und Platzbedarf.Einziges Manko welches ich bei dem Preis jedoch angemessen finde ist, dass sich die Hülle trotz Reinigung leicht vergilbt. Nichts hält ewig und das ist zumindest mir bewusst.

Schade das es bei diesem Modell nur vergleichsweise wenig Farben gibt. Die sind aber dennoch der Hingucker. Die Knöpfe erfordern einigen Kraftaufwand um sie betätigen und damit das Handy zu steuern. Das ist aber auch das Einzige was man bemängeln kann.
