Miracle medicine!!
I'm quite impressed... I've never tried homeopathic medicine and also believed it's a pseudo-science. But this one is quite a miracle medicine. My baby suffers with a lot of gas pain, painful reflux and a lot of restless sleeping. After a week of starting this medicine, we saw his symptoms reducing! I am quite impressed..what I don't like is that it takes quite some time to start being effective. Also this almost can never be used after a feeding- my kid throws up whenever we do that! Only right way of administering it is to time it well before a feed and also to burp him after he has taken a dose. Otherwise, spitting up is inevitable.

COLIC CALM is a MUST have for my family! No more heartburn and upset tummy!
I have used Colic calm for my son since he was a baby and would cry horribly all day and night. Most of the trouble started after he got the vaccine for the rotovirus. Turns out he was having digestive issues even though he was breastfed. My wife had to drastically alter her diet so that he wouldn't have a reaction to her breastmilk. The worst offender in her diet was regular milk. She cut it out of her diet and he was better but when she tried a glass later, he immediately had problems after his feeding. He also reacted when she ate corn, wheat, soy, beef, and others. After she changed her diet and figured out what was causing him problems, his colic seemed to go away. During that time, colic calm was the only product that would soothe his tummy upset. As he got older and started eating solid foods, we found out that oatmeal was a big culprit. It turns out my wife is very sensitive to gluten (didn't know it before) and so my son is showing symptoms of that too. Oatmeal can trigger the same symptoms for gluten intolerant or gluten sensitive people. He would throw up the oatmeal after eating it. Now we avoid that. But now that is almost four, sometimes he wants the fried chicken nuggets and french fries (who can resist the darn happy meals?) so on the rare occaison that we buy that for him, we give him a little colic calm before he eats and a little after he eats. If we don't give him Colic Calm with fast food, he will get heartburn (wakes up crying in pain after a nap and I can hear him burping and hiccuping) and would also get diarrhea (sorry to be gross). With the colic calm, he has NO symptoms of tummy upset whatsoever. I HIGHLY recommend this product. Anytime he is going to eat something potentially greasy or bread baked with oil, I give it to him. We almost always bake homemade bread and treats but sometimes we buy it from the store. Bread, cookies, cakes and Doughnuts from the grocery store or bakeries are all cooked in oil. Oil (canola, soybean, etc...) seems to be a big culprit for heartburn and diarrhea. By the way, try to avoid soybean oil if at all possible for all men and boys. It causes endocrine disruption and it increases the estrogen in your body. Not good for a growing boy.

for all the hype...
it's fine, it works as well as any other gripe water with chamomile, but it's certainly no miracle. it does calm baby for a minute or two (no gripe water will calm for much longer). it breaks the cycle of screaming and allows baby to fall asleep. WHY ARE BABY MEDICINES BLACK?!?!?! black baby spit up is unpleasant at best, and black poop is interesting as well. We also have Wellements brand gripe water, which is clear, has 12mg of chamomile (if you want a calm baby, whatever you buy should have that in it), and baby loves the taste. i'd return the other bottle of Colic Calm if i weren't so lazy, just because it's so expensive and Wellements works just as well

Colic Calm Amazing Stuff
This stuff is amazing!!! I don't use it for "colic" per-say. My son had horrible gas for about the first 6 weeks of his life. I had tried every kind of gripe water available and gas drops. None of them worked, so I had a very fussy baby. I had tried switching bottles several times as well thinking he was swallowing too much air. Well as soon as I found Colic Calm and read the great reviews I thought, yeah right nothing else has worked, but I'll give it a try When you have a baby that is just always fussy you will try anything. I thought the fact that this product was black was weird, but like I said I was willing to try anything. Within the first dose my son was able to pass gas and immediately fell asleep afterwards. He slept soundly for two days afterwards! I was a bit concerned but I read that when the symptoms subside they are able to rest. In the beginning I was using it before every feeding, but eventually I was able to just give it when I noticed symptoms. Now he rarely ever has to use it. I just give it to him when I notice he has a tummy ache or is spitting up quite a bit. This product is pricey, but sooooo worth it trust me. I always keep a bottle on hand. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for relief for their baby. It helps with gas, colic, acid reflux, upset tummy, it's just amazing.

didn't work as wonderful
At first colic calm seemed to help. But then my baby cried even worse every time i gave him colic calm. He always has diarrhea, and the color of his stool is black which is from the medicine. May be to those babies that are not as colicky as mine, it works but for mine not all the time. I will stop using it for about three days to see what happens.

No cure for colic
I'm sure this is a decent product, but there's really no cure for colic (none that we could find for our son anyway - we tried everything!). Some people say it helps though. It's expensive too...nothing worked for our son - not gas drops, simethicone, mylicon, or this product. We just had to wait it out. Luckily for us he outgrew it around 3 months (some don't outgrow it until 6 though). Hang in there!!!
