Anker AK-A2512011 Fast Wireless Charger PowerTouch 10 for USB for Smartphones

I really like this charger. It has a nice rubber top surface so your device will stay still when charging, and an ambient light around the base, which can be disabled. It’s a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures, measuring about 3.5 inches in diameter. There are blue lights around the base which can fortunately be disabled. I use this charger primarily with my Moto 360 and it charges well. I also tested it on my old Galaxy S6 and it worked fine. I recently picked up a wireless charging shell for my Moto z and it works just fine. It will also work with the iPhone 8, 8+ and X. You have to make sure your device is centered on the pad, and there aren't any magnets to help you align it. Having a USB-C port on the back is nice, since I also charge my phone and laptop via USB-C, and I only have to bring one cable. I wish they included a wall plug in the box or a longer USB-C cable. As for the "fast charging" that is advertised with this, you'll need a Qualcomm quick charger 2.0/3.0 compatible wall plug in order to get fast charging, which are sold by Anker as well as other companies. Overall, I would say this is a better buy than other wireless chargers from Samsung. It will charge your phone almost as fast, its compact and lightweight, and minimal. Just make sure your device supports wireless charging.

Edit: I am updating my review from 2 to 4 stars based on Anker's excellent customer service.They contacted me and explained that since this charger is single coiled, any distance caused by a case would reduce the charging capabilities. I was also offered a wired Quick Charge 3.0 charger for free as an apology for the PowerTouch 10 not working up to expectations. It's important to note that I did not contact them initially and I did not request any compensation. They were extremely friendly and professional throughout the entire process. While this specific product did not work well for me, I would not hesitate to buy other Anker products in the future.--------I was unable to get my phones charging on the PowerTouch 10 while they were in their cases. Tested two Samsung Galaxy S7 Edges with Speck and Spigen cases, and a Galaxy S7 with a generic wallet type case. The same phones with cases charged without any problems when using the Samsung Fast Wireless Charger and a Spigen Wireless Charger.

A little to the left or right and no charging. I tried with and without the case same result. Besides that you need the fast charger because it only comes with a usb cord, which is no big deal since i already have the anker fast charger. I haven't even had it a month yet. When I first got it, my Galaxy S7 would register quickly and charge effectively. Now I can barely get it to recognize my phone and start charging at all. I have to keep moving the phone around until it finally lights up.I've looked at some of the responses to similar complaints where they suggest placing the phone a specific way, but it doesn't help. The Samsung branded chargers work almost 100% of the time when I place my phone down, this one barely does anymore.Update: Anker sent a replacement unit and this one has been working very well. Sometimes I have to adjust the placement of my phone for it to recognize it, but so far it has connected every time. The Samsung branded wireless chargers still do a quicker job of connecting with my GS7, but the replacement Anker puck is doing the job as well.

I just purchased a galaxy S7 Edge and wanted to take advantage of the wireless charging feature so I figured I would purchase this Qi charging pad. I opted for this one as opposed to the Samsung pad for several reasons:1. USB-C is the future so might as well get something you can use in the future with other phones; and this pad uses that connection (cable is included)2. Fast charging compatible (use the adapter that came with the phone to get full charging speed)3. Works with the case I have on it (currently using the Spigen Neo Hybrid Crystal case, which is relatively thick)4. Fast charging time (many people complained that the Samsung pad was taking too long)5. Under-glow blue LED can be turned off (I am not bothered by this light as it is NOT obnoxious, but its a nice feature to have incase I want to turn it off)6. Light goes from pulsating (while charging) to solid (when fully charged)Great product that can be used in the future as everything is slowly going towards USB-C and wireless charging!

This charging pad was rated as one of the top by trusted sites like gottabemobile and android.com, including good ratings by amazon.ca.I made some extended research on the Anker company and had enough trust in ordering from a well reknown company like theirs. I specifically verified for an S8. And the charging pad was highly recommended for the S8 and S8+.I was not ignorant when I put my trust in their product.Once i received the item. I put it to the test. I read the instructions and set it up accordingly.I removed the case of the phone for charging and realized that something was off. This pad wasn't charging fast enough.The phone case was removed during charging. It takes exactly 3 hours and 42 minutes to charge this phone. Meanwhile when plugging the usb C cable directly into the phone ,charging was much faster. It charged fully the phone in 1 hour and 51 min.I tried a different 5V/2A wall charger and a different cable to see if the problem persisted. I've tried the Anker cable and the Samsung. The Samsung cable charged the phone faster by 38 min. All this while using the original Samsung wall charger.I followed the right position as instructed in their Welcome guide.Not sure I wanted a replacement for the Power Touch 10. Was looking to be reimbursed, as i was not pleased with this product. I originally bought this product because I work in an office and expect fast charging in order to be efficiently productive when need my phone on the road.When i gave this product a 2 star review, Anker contacted me because they wanted feedback as to why it didn't work for me. They were swift and respectful in their response sincerely apologizing for the inconvenience. But they explained that the wireless charger's Fast-Charge Mode compatible devices include: Samsung Galaxy Note 5, S7 / S7 edge, and S6 edge＋, but will not able to fast charge S8+.On this occasion, they offered better service, and issued a full refund. As an apology for the inconvenience, I didn't need to return the old one on this occasion.I will definitely be purchasing from this company based only on how they treat their customers. They have great products and back them up with great customer service.

**UPDATE**Since writing my review, Anker has reached out to me and offered probably the best customer service experience I have ever had! They were very keen to actually listen to the issues that I had with my wireless charger and offered to send me a different model as a replacement for evaluation. Unfortunately, problems still persisted and upon contacting Anker again for advice, they have given me the option of keeping the wireless charger and offering me a replacement Anker product up to the value of £15 as means of an apology. Absolutely blown away by the service on offer and I have since returned to Amazon tonight to order another Anker product. As a result I am upping my star level from 2 to 4 stars. Other manufacturers take note, this is how to do customer service properly!!Product is great quality and feels very well made but it unfortunately just not suitable for an iphone 8 plus. Despite the rubber to provide grip on the charging surface, my phone still manages to slide enough to interrupt the wireless charging process. The charger has sat undisturbed next to my bed at night and waking up to an uncharged iphone 2 nights in a row has resulted in me sending this back for a refund. Anker, if you wish to reach out to me with a solution I will happily purchase another product from you as the quality of items you make are second to none and I am not put off purchasing from you again.

Purchased this Anker Fast Wireless Charger for my new Galaxy S8+. Charges quick and very easy to use. Unlike a lot of wireless chargers I've researched online, this one make it easy to find the "sweet spot". It's really quite forgiving in that I rarely have to reposition my phone to get it to charge. It just works right away the first time!The rubberized top and bottom are excellent details. The bottom so the charger obviously doesn't slide around on the table and the rubber on top makes so that your phone doesn't easily slide on the charger throwing it out of line from the coil underneath. It gives you the extra reassurance that you won't accidentally knock the phone out of place.The only negative I'd have to point out is the LED light at the bottom... a little too bright in a dark room at night. This is not an issue if using it elsewhere than next to your bed, but if you're like me and keep the phone on your night table while sleeping, it can be a little distracting. Although it can be manually turned off, I like leaving it on for the extra reassurance that the phone is well positioned and charging to avoid surprises in the morning! For use elsewhere than a night table, this thing rocks!

Il caricabatterie si installa in pochi secondi, basta collegarlo a una presa USB o a un caricabatterie; nel mio caso, è collegato a un hub USB autoalimentato, quindi la ricarica è piuttosto veloce. L'oggetto ha un gommino sul fondo ed è pesante abbastanza da non muoversi quando vi si posiziona il telefono.Durante la ricarica lo smartphone scalda un po' ma è normale, succede anche con la ricarica "normale"; il led lampeggiante sotto tutto il corpo del caricabatterie si accende solo se il telefono è stato posizionato nella maniera corretta e non da alcun fastidio, anzi, è molto utile. E poi funziona anche con lo smartphone inserito in una cover (io ho un S8 con cover in tpu), ma la cosa sorprendente è che mi ricarica anche il mio vecchio e glorioso Nexus 4!Direi che è un ottimo acquisto, pratico, versatile, comodissimo e di ottima qualità; una volta messo in opera fa il suo lavoro senza problemi e ti evita la seccatura di usare cavetti specie se si hanno più telefoni con attacchi diversi (micro-usb e type C). 5 stelle sono anche poche.

Kurz vorweg, ich benutze den dieses QI Ladepad mit einem Samsung S8+ mit einer Spigen® [Thin Fit] Hülle. Ich muss etwas aufpassen, wie ich das Handy positioniere, damit tatsächlich geladen wird. Allerdings erkenne ich direkt am Ladepad (es leuchtet blau) und am Handy, dass geladen wird.Das Laden - mit original Samsung Netzteil - dauert nicht merklich länger, als direkt am Kabel. Das Handy wird halt etwas warm, liegt aber natürlich an der Technologie. Ein Pfeifen oder sonst ein Geräusch höre ich nicht, aber benutze das Teil auch nicht im Schlafzimmer. Das Licht, welches das Laden anzeigt, kann man über eine kleine Schaltfläche ausschalten.Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Von unten und oben ist das Pad leicht gummiert, damit nichts verruscht. Der Metallring lässt es noch wertiger wirken.Das Einzige was ich anmerken kann: Das USB Kabel guckt ein klein wenig raus, man könnte die Buchse etwas tiefer verbauen. Auf der anderen Seite kann man so jedes USB-C Kabel verwendet, egal wie es geformt ist.Ich würde das Ladepad/den Qi Charger wieder kaufen und kann den weiterempfehlen.
