It's a 5.0 Bluetooth adapter, not a 5.1 adapter
After installation, the firmware shows "LMP 9.25805". So, it's actually a Bluetooth 5.0 adapter, not a 5.1 adapter.I've tried to: 1. Install the driver from the CD; 2. Install the driver from the USB disk; 3. Install the driver downloaded from the Website. 4. Enable/Disable/Reboot...etcIs there a way to update the firmware (I don't think so, but, what am I missing?)? The item is not as described by Amazon. I may have to return it if it's not a 5.1 adapter. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thank you very much.

Working with Manjaro Plasma (Linux)
I was able to get this working with Manjaro using Plasma desktop (5.22.3) connecting to an Arctis 3 gaming headset. Latest LTS kernel version as of this review: 5.10.49-1 includes updates to use latest RealTek chip (8761) drivers for this device. If needed for older/unsupported kernels, you can also download and install them manually via pamac searching for "rtl8761b-fw". I believe this will also install blueman Bluetooth manager. It was the only one I could get to work before the kernel update release to include the new drivers, but it was very finicky about finding the device and connecting. However, before I could update to the new kernel, i had to uninstall the manual drivers and it worked smoothly after a remove/re-pairing of my device. Unplugging/plugging back in also seemed to help it find the adapter after the reboot. Also, I am using x11, have not tested on Wayland. I will try to update here if I run into any issues.

Works immediately. Couldn't get BT 5.1 by installing the given drivers, though.
This 5.1 bluetooth stick immediately solved my bluetooth problems, however, I could not get it to work as 5.1 bluetooth rather than 5.0 bluetooth. I tried installing the drivers off of the website that was given in the card (as I do not have a cd reader on my pc) but it did not work. I don't really mind as of right now, though, because it works well anyways. In any case, this did fix my Gigabyte b550I bluetooth issues immediately, so I am satisfied with the product. Will update this review if I ever get the 5.1 drivers working.

Fixed Bluetooth Headphone Issues
When I switched from a PCI-E Bluetooth/wireless card (old PC) to my motherboard's built-in Bluetooth (new pc) I've had nothing but headaches with Bluetooth headphones. They gave a constant stuttering and distortion that made them unusable. Headphones worked fine w/ other devices of course. Disabling my onboard Bluetooth and plugging in this adapter fixed all issues for me. My headphones cost $300 so purchasing a $15 USB adapter to be able to enjoy them is well worth it. The newer 5.1 standard is also nice. Overall I'm super happy since I've spent hours researching Bluetooth issues with sound. I normally don't buy products without a ton of reviews, but I'm happy to leave positive feedback on a product that works well.

Fixed my Problem on Windows 10 Pro
I have spent the past 3 weeks attempting to determine why my Apple Airpods Max would cut out, my TOZO NC2 N Bluetooth earbuds would not connect and my JLab Omni Bluetooth headphones would not connect to the new Gigabyte Z590 Ultra motherboard.I got this dongle in an attempt to resolve the issues I was experiencing. It worked! First I disabled the built-in Bluetooth adapter in Windows Device Manager. Then I installed the Realtek drivers from the CD that came in the package and this fixed all of the above problems.
