Great for the price
For the price I paid, It can't be beat. Has all the features I want, some of which I wasn't even expecting, and with buying refurbished I got it for the price of a very low end model. If you're a serious gamer, it won't be enough for you, but I tried one game on it and the quality exceeded my expectations.

Buy a different laptop
It's definitely not the best laptop in the world. Getting on the internet is a constant trial and it's not my internet because everything else works fine. Most of the time it is not even responding. I suggest getting a different laptop.

Downwards Spiral
I like this computer, I really do, and I'd love to keep liking it, but I can't help but agree with a lot of the one and two star reviews, saying that it lags constantly and is slow, which at first, I would disagree on, but as the days go by, I find it to slow down more and more, and I understand that yes, as time goes on, computers can slow down, however the thing is, I haven't had this computer for that long, nor have I done anything remotely heavy to it (by this, I mean performance heavy games and applications) in fact, the most I really ever do on it is go on Youtube or Discord.Though, I see this one problem mentioned in another review, the hard drive. Yes, my hard drive is facing "imminent hard drive failure" according the the black screen with text I get as I turn on my computer, and I'm sure that it won't be too long till that hard drive failure occurs, I've never had much success with HP computers, nor do I fancy them all that much, but this is kinda ridiculous, I've had one Dell laptop that lasted me four years with the same treatment, so I'm quite positive it's not my doing.Overall, I like this computer's design very much (by design, I mean the outer design of the computer), however the functionality and hardware leaves a lot to be desired. I'm somewhat unhappy (of course) with the hard drive especially, as I will most likely have to have it replaced later on, but oh well. I would not suggest purchasing this laptop, even though I really would like to like it a lot more, I just can't help but feel they went very cheap on the hard drive, and overall functionality of the computer. If you're looking to get a laptop/desktop, maybe stray away from HP, I know I will be once I move on to my next computer. Though it's still hanging in there, for now at least, poor thing.(For those of you wondering, I've had the computer for about a year or two now, but compared to the average I've had other computers last I would have hoped this one didn't start showing signs of "death" earlier than expected. Maybe I'm being picky or delusional, but oh well.)

Good enough for folks to use MS Office applications and ...
I have bought about 20 of these over the past year or so, mostly thru Wal-mart, but they seem to have stopped carrying it, so now I buy it thru Amazon. It is for my son's Property Management business. Good enough for folks to use MS Office applications and web based property management software with Internet Explorer. Since we could no longer find Win 7 computers at a reasonable price, this is what we chose to use going to Windows 10. Haven't had any issues with any of them. The dual band wireless is good for some of our sites that have a dual band router. The 1 TB drive was much more than we would ever need, but we did want a PC with at least 8GB of RAM. The features we wanted at the price point we desired. I'll be sad when i can't get these any longer!

Great laptop.
Works great . Now for the REST of the story. I was notified by HP that my warranty expired in July, but I did not buy it until the end of September. Hmm. The box had a Walmart sticker on it. It had been sold to Walmart and then sold to Creek, the company selling it on Amazon. Amazon was no help whatsoever putting it on Creek and having me make contact with them Creek was good and offered to replace the laptop or offer me $40.00. I learned from HP, a warranty costs $60.00 . I told them this and they then offered $45.00. After asking to talk to a supervisor, the offer changed to $60.00 which was reasonable and I bought a warranty from HP. HP was great, Amazon not so much.

Disappointed
This pc has proved to be very very slow in processing. Many times freezes when I click on something. I find myself using my phone more because it's faster. I do not like being negative about anything & especially when it will affect others, but I wouldn't want to see someone disappointed like I have been. Tho it does seem like others have found it to be a great product for them... maybe I just got one with a glitch in it.

Definitely not a touch screen
It works perfectly for a used laptop and it looks brand new as well. It was sold at reasonable price as well. And although it is not touch screen, it is definitely ok.
