Yunmai Color Smart Scale - Body Fat Scale with Fitness APP & Body Composition Monitor with Extra Large Display

Just got this scale this week, so I have yet to experience it long term. It seems accurate, came quickly and everything has looked and worked great. The only suggestion I would have for the company is to possibly elaborate more on the body measurements. , For instance, on the app it shows you a line of 3 different colors ranging from normal, medium, to above average, and it has a marker of where you're at (I'll insert a picture below) for your body measurements, but it doesn't really say what is normal for your body type. I wish it would give some sort of average healthy number that you can kind of base yourself off of, according to your height and age to see where you fit in. According to my number on the app, Id need to lose 10% body fat away to be out of the obese category. I am 5'2 and weigh 150 lbs and although I am curvy, If I lost 10% body fat I'd probly look anorexic for my body type. So, just something to be aware of. I bought this to use as a guide to try and lose body fat and not my lean muscle I have been building for the past year, not as a lifeline so I think it works fine for that reason. I have suggested it to my friends and they are looking into purchasing it now, so I do think it's a nice machine for the price.

Superb job keeping the device as easy to use as possible. This process should be the de facto standard for all connected devices. Download the app, fill in your basic info, step on the scale... You're done. No complex pairing as many other devices have.Using it is as simple, launch the app, (if you want to track your history, it works on its own as well), step on it, and in a flash you get your metric.Metrics mostly seem within acceptable ranges but I wouldn't trust these too much. Used as a pattern indicator is OK, used as a true measure can be deceiving. Body fat percentages consistently show higher numbers than when measured professionally with more traditional methods. Not by much in my case, but by a large margin with my wife. She is more at the high level fitness / body building range and has had a knee replacement and a breast augmentation. I'm not sure how Yunmai handles foreign parts. So the body fat %age for her is double with this scale measurements than it is when measured with calipers professionally.However, Yunmai measurements are very consistent, so it's easy to make some compensations where you identified variances and still keep some trending going.Excellent product, great idea well implemented, and again, a model of care for ease of use that should inspire more companies in tech.

UPDATE: 5/15/2018I purchased this scale in June 2016. Worked fine at first. Started deviating from my doctors scales after about a year. Then about 3 weeks ago (1 year 10 months from purchase), it started to drain batteries every month. I switched to rechargeable batteries - it slowly declined to the point that it would drain those within two days.Then I noticed a 15 pound decrease over a week and was ecstatic! Now It won't take any charge from any battery to power fully. The back light comes on for about a day then the batteries are completely drained. Dead... :( sad because I really liked this scale. Will not purchase again - Shame that I will loose all that data.

I really like this scale. The app is really easy to use if ur technologically inclined i downloaded it to my phone before i got the scale in the mail and got used to where everything is and how to work it so i was ready when the scale came. It tracks a lot of really helpful things - fat percentage, muscle percentage, water percentage , (apparently im not drinking enuogh lol), i dont know how accurate it is but it also gives ur metab olic rate so you can supposedly use it as a guide to eating better, it tracks other things too like bone mass and protein and some other things but im only interested in weight , fat % ,muscle %, water %, and protein % - im a naturally thick girl and need to lose weight and tone up . Just be sure you put it on tile no carpet it gives REALLY off readings if you do .

Before purchasing this smart scale, I had a few other scales. I tried the FitBit smart scale and some digital scales. None of the other scales I tried compare to this one. The Yunmai app is so great! It syncs all of my information so I can easily track my weight loss. The scale is very cheap and so attractive. I love the pink color.Pros:1. Sleek design2. Works as expected and the app is accurate, the foot pressure plates immediately broke off.

I love this scale!! I got the pink one and it is so cute! Seems to measure accurately, always gives me the same number as my other scale that I double check with. Darn it???I really like that the Yunmai app is really easy to use. I wish it kept track of not only weight over time, but also everything else (muscle%, water%, etc.) Oh well; I just screenshot my results and keep them in an album under Yunmai in my photos :DExtremely happy with my purchase!! Yay!!!!!

Purchased this scale since it had such great reviews. After receiving my scale had some issue with it not being able to calberate. Customer service replacing my scale for free! That is GREAT customer service! Not many places will do that anymore, but we still do have companies that still care about their customers and their products! Scale is very nice, love its features on the app!
