Just opened it and found out the helmet is broken. The piece used to tighten and loosen it inside of the helmet is broken and just keeps spinning. I realize the return window is closed but is it possible to exchange this helmet? This seems like a great piece

This was our 4th helmet buy in a year. My son is 6yrs old and decided he likes to bomb hills and find the steepest parts of the skate park to try out. As soon as he cracks a helmet or I see it isn’t fitting right it gets tossed, this is the first one we’ve bought him that not only fits correctly (doesn’t slide back and choke him when he face plants) but is actually comfortable for him when we tighten the dial. My 2 yr old rocks a schwinn toddler helmet with a dial and although I love it because it completely covers the back of his head, they didn’t have one the next size up so I will be buying another one of these once he outgrows it! Fantastic buy for the price, already had two bad crashes and not a single crack yet!

My 3 year old was going pretty fast down a hill on a scooter and somehow had his wheel catch the shoe of my 5 year old riding in front up him. This sent his to an immediate stop, over the handlebars, and his head straight to the pavement. I ran over to him and the helmet took almost all of the impact. He had a few scratches on his nose and upper lip but from the speed and way that he fell it could have been much much worse. Very happy with the performance.I will say that these helmets can sit incorrectly on a child's head so please be sure to place it on properly. There are good images in the instructions to show the correct and incorrect placement. Also after about 4 uses the back dial piece where it connects into the helmet is rather thin and snapped loose. The helmet is still operational but just a pain to make sure you align it properly each time once this happens. I will say that the story above occurred after the piece broke so I did find that the helmet still works properly but I'm still upset that it broke under minimal use.

Perfect for our two year old! She is in the 80th percentile for size, it fits her head on the smallest setting. I would purchase this again.

My daughter was absolutely against wearing a helmet. But, she came around, in her interest to have a scooter. She loves the color, and found it easy to get used to wearing the helmet.

Well we haven't been successful at using this helmet for its purpose but we do wear it for fun around the house and it seems comfortable and fits well.

Great helmet for everything my 6 year old likes - rollerblading, biking, scootering.

Got this one for our son, worked great, so have now purchased this for our daughter. Easily adjustable and built like a tank. Only complaint is that it scratches somewhat easily, but my kids aren't particularly gentle with them. Comfort? Well all I can say is that when my kids are done with bikes and scooters they leave it on without thinking about it.
