Bosch HBN5651UC 500 27" Stainless Steel Electric Double Wall Oven - Convection

One of these units was installed in our new home. I dislike it so much I purposely came here to advise people not to buy one. The controls are superbly horrible. The timer and temperature adjustments are touch-capacitive buttons that have a delay and never respond properly/accurately. There are no common-sense features like "cook time" where the oven shuts off at the end of a timer. The controls are so frustrating it makes me want to spend hundreds of dollars just to replace something that works and that I already have. Everything technically cooks fine. The look is nice. As an avid cook who uses both ovens, regularly, these are the worst designed oven controls I've ever encountered. Buy virtually anything else.

I bought this in 2014. I love everything about this unit. The only negative is it has a really long cool down time after you shut if off. I pretty much listen to the fans all through the meal. Other than that, love,love it.

The first time I used the self cleaning mode the interior glass exploded. Bosch refuses to repair under warranty because I purchased it through Amazon. Prime Appliances is not an authorized dealer. I argued with Bosch saying I bought it on Amazon, so I assumed it was a legit sale. They won’t budge. Full cost of repair is on me.
