This English talking keychain is small enough (2.25 inches x 1.25 x .50) to conveniently fit into a pocket or purse, yet large enough to keep you from misplacing your keys, this convenient clock/keychain has a surprisingly loud and clear voice. A Reluctant 3 Stars. But With Instructions for Setting the Clock
I bought this talking clock for someone who does not see well. How difficult life is for people who can't see! Imagine not being able to easly tell what the current time is.Anyway, the clock works OK, and the person I bought it for was happy. That is, she was happy until the clock's alarm started going off at an odd hour. I tried to shut the alarm off, but having lost the instructions that came with the device, all I managed to do was get the clock to announce the hour every hour - twenty four hours a day. Only a little bit worse than the original problem.I wrote to the seller, asking for help. Silence. So, I searched the net for instructions. These I found and they are listed below.Happy timekeeping.Talking Keychain ClockPlace your talking pocket clock in front of you, with the metal keychain facingstraight ahead. Now, be sure to have the side with three small buttons up.Buttons:Left: ModeMiddle: HourRight: MinuteTo set the time, press Mode until one beep is heard. Then, just press the Hour andMinute buttons until the time is set correctly. To set the alarm, press Mode again until you hear two beeps. Then, just as before, use the Hour and Minute buttons. To return to regular operation, press Mode one final time--and you'll hear threeconfirming beeps. To turn the alarm on, press Hour, and you'll hear four beeps followed by the timethe alarm is set for. To turn off the alarm, press Hour again, and you'll get just onebeep.Lastly, to turn Hourly Announce on, press the Minute button and listen for fourbeeps. To turn it off, press Minute again, and you'll hear only one beep. And of course, whenever you want to hear the time, just press the large button onthe opposite side of the keychain.

handy for Mum who can't see well
Would give it 5 stars but it got stuck on beeping every hour for a while and was annoying until I figured how to turn it off. Mum accidentally changes the settings sometimes, she can't see much and pushed buttons randomly. Battery has lasted for a long time.

Very helpful for the blind.
mom uses this all the time since she went blind this year. She had a talking clock but it was automatic and drove her/us crazy! This she can hold and hear when she wants. It's a small size and easy to carry. The sound seemed to diminish recently so we changed the battery. But it still sounded lower than usual. My sister bought another since they're so inexpensive, in case one goes out on her she'll have a standby.

Prompt delivery for a handy product
Product delivered quickly. Battery was dead and I have to buy a new one which is not cheap. Overall it is helpful to someone who is legally blind. I did not contact customer service about the battery, I did not want to waste the time.Would buy another one if needed.

Good idea
I got this for my vision impaired father. It is a good idea, but did not work well for us because he could not keep up with it. It would probably work very well for someone younger.

Useful and convenient
Useful and convenient. Buttons were a little weird getting used to and I think they don't always interpret the button presses unless you press very hard. May just be mine though.

Talking Watch
Nice product for my aged, blind friend, but it didn't last very long. My friend liked it a lot, but I had to replace it frequently.

Very handy gadget for the sight impaired.
This is the second one that we have bought. The first was for my 93 yr. old father-in-law who can no longer see his watch. He uses it constantly. He says it's the best present we have ever given him. This time we ordered one for him to give a friend.

Very disappointed of this product.
the talking part of this clock is absolutely useless, can't hear what the voice say, may be the battery is low,but when you buy a brand new thing you expect the seller will put in a new battery before sending it out andyou don't expect to replace a new thing with new battery. Very disappointed, will never buy from this company.

voice is incomprehensible
I got this for my 95 year old mother who is blind and somewhat hearing impaired, to replace a similar gadget. This one had a non English speaker telling time and I couldn't even begin to understand her, let alone my Mom. We sent it back.

Not Worth the Money
I bought this Talking Clock Keychain for my mother who cannot see because of macular degeneration. Very cheap plastic, "tinny" sound, barely loud enough to hear if you have it right on your ear. Don't waste your money.

Rooster alarm talking watch
I really like this product and will try to order it again, but the one that arrived had a battery so depleted that there was almost no voice, and the alarm didn't work.

Excellent Product
I bought this for my mother, who has macular degeneration. She loves it! She keeps it in her pocket and can find out the time whenever she wants. Shipping was quick, too.
