battery bought to replace original philips avent battery in a SCD520 monitor. i specifically purchased this battery as opposed to other cheaper options due to the item being listed as "battery for philips avent SCD520." i incorrectly thought that it meant it would be an actual philips avent battery. IT IS NOT. the original battery from our monitor clearly says avent on it. THIS DOES NOT. the packaging says "CS cameron sino rechargeable battery" and has a computer printed sticker on it that says it is a new battery for a SCD520. in addition, the original philips avent battery is 900mAh and this replacement is 700mAh.having said all of this, the replacement battery is working fine so far. i am just extremely wary given the misrepresentation of the product. to me, it seemed as if i would be receiving an OEM product directly made by philips avent. foolish assumption on my part, indeed. going with this more expensive option with the order fulfilled by amazon, an item number that said philips, and item title that said "Battery for Philips Avent SCD520, Avent SCD520/00 by Philips" did not ensure that i wouldn't be getting an aftermarket product. live and learn, i guess. hopefully, it continues working. the original battery lasted 3+ years with our first child. we'll see how it goes with our 2nd. i am giving the item 4 stars due to its performance thus far, but will happily change the rating if performance changes/stops. and i will always be irritated that it didn't turn out to be an OEM replacement battery.

We have 2 kids and a monitor in each room. Both of the portable "listening" units had rechargeable batteries that really stopped holding a charge. Perhaps it was our fault, putting them on a charger before they had run down really low. But it used to be where we'd put the kids down, turn on the monitors and within about 90 minutes, they'd start beeping with low batteries....we could turn them off, shake them, and get about 30 more minutes without beeping. Annoying!These batteries are the proper replacements....and have given a new life to our monitors. Now, they go for 8 hours without beeping a low battery (and only then do we put them on the charger).

This battery, after charging fully overnight, went for 3 nights before the monitor started beeping. 3 Nights without being plugged in, and that includes naps for 2 hours at a clip too. Sure, I've got the monitor set to 2 on sensitivity and 2 on volume, but I'm not nervous about every breath anymore. As a 3 yo, he naps and sleeps well, so I'm only listening still for sickness or naughtiness. Awesome replacement battery. I don't remember the original, b/c I was sleep deprived, but this one surely is as good for a great price.

I was hoping this new battery would help with our screen issues (some of the 'lines' have disappeared and makes it confusing to read the numbers/other options) but it did not. The battery does hold a charge much longer than the one that came with our unit...3 years ago.

I order this for a three-year old Phillips baby monitor. This has a lower capacity than the OEM. I recently got a new, second, baby monitor from Phillips for my second kid. The OEM battery of the new monitor has the same capacity as this but the OEM seems to last longer. Unfortunately, I can't order OEM replacement battery.

We have a Philips Avent SCD510, and Philips no longer sells batteries for this older-model unit (of course). I thought we would have to buy an entirely new monitor but decided to give this battery a shot first - if it worked it's sure a lot cheaper than a new monitor. Just wanted to post this review to say if you are in the same situation, yes, it works! It fits just fine, it charged up, and is holding a charge just as it should. Two thumbs up so far.

Way cheaper than ordering a replacement from Philips for a mint. Tried to buy locally at Batteries Plus and they were a complete joke in terms of pricing and ability to actually help so I went to Amazon. Battery life is back to normal in our Philips SCD520 and we use it 24/7. Would recommend the Cameron Sino CS-PHD520MB to anyone and will buy another one when our 2nd monitor requires replacement.

Just what the doctor ordered. We acquired an older Philips Avent audio only baby monitor from a friend. The unit was in good shape, but the rechargeable battery for the parent unit was shot. This battery worked just as advertised. We have an SCD510 and this battery fits and works properly even though the seller doesn't specify that this works in the SCD510 model.
