This is the perfect food for my cichlids that are under 1 inch long for the following reasons: My fish really like this stuff; even the picky ones. Best growth rate compared to all other brands I've used. The shape of this product is also great for use in automatic feeders. Just about all the pellets will sink, so you can use this feed in tanks with over flows. Keeps larger fish active longer in their search for the small sized pellets (1/16 inch). Great value at $33 per 5.5 lbs. Now, I need to figure out what to do with all these empty mini buckets 🙂
