contains the smell!
I bought this wet back to have at our changing station down stairs since our diaper pail is upstairs. The zipper on the smaller wetbag that we had been using broke and I was tired of having to empty those diapers into the pail upstairs when the bag would start to smell. I like that this one was larger and other users said that it did a good job of containing the smell. Sure enough, we've been using it for about a month no and I have never had a problem with the smell. It is very thick and sturdy, holds a lot of diapers and contains the smell perfectly. It takes a while to air dry when washed, but I have found that hanging it outside helps with that.

Poor quality zipper
Overall, I think it's held up okay for it being over a year. However, I am disappointed that the zipper piece on the second planetwise bag I purchased has also broken off. It's really not a suitable zipper for the bag. If the lining has to be good quality to hold in smell and moisture then the zipper should be of equal or higher quality. It's still functional. Just a pain.Edit: Just to be clear, I've purchase two planetwise bags and the zippers on BOTH bags have broken off around the 6-8 month mark of regular use.

I contacted the company and was nicely directed to youtube on how to fix the zippers
Worked well for awhile. We purchased three of these and cycled through them at daycare during the week. On average there were washed once a week and worked well. However 1.5 years later, two of the bags's zippers have failed: one entirely destroyed and the other just lost its "handle" to zip. The third is on its last legs. I contacted the company and was nicely directed to youtube on how to fix the zippers.I am a bit disappointed that a company billed as "planet wise" is selling a bag that would need to be replaced/repurchased after less than one year of use. This means that a bag with most parts being non-disposable now will likely get thrown away and be even more difficult to dispose of than the plastic diapers we are attempting to avoid!but as others have noted, what other options are there? sigh.

We wash it about every 2-3 days using a Fluff Love pre-wash/heavy wash routine on hot
Our baby is 8 weeks now and we've used this for as long. We wash it about every 2-3 days using a Fluff Love pre-wash/heavy wash routine on hot. It has held up fantastically so far with no fading or stretching or any sort of wear. Dries fast (we don't put any of our PUL stuff through the dryer), we don't even need to have a back up for when it's air drying. The texture on the outside is very pleasant and feels very sturdy.Planet Wise wet bags are some of the best constructed out there. We've tried a few other brands and none of them felt as durable. While I find the front pocket a bit perplexing, it doesn't bother me. It is just the right size and hangs just the right amount above the floor off a standard doorknob height. Highly recommended.I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

Really great bag for wet/dirty cloth diapers
I use cloth diapers for my newborn and am pretty pleased with this wet bag. The construction is solid and materials are high quality. I do laundry about every other day, sometimes three days, and there is never any smell from the diapers in the bag, which was my primary concern. The liner is also very water proof! My only complaint is that in the wash, the liner turns inside out and traps water in between itself and the outer layer, which is kind of hard to squeeze out and doesn't always dry in the dryer or on the line. This is more an inconvenience than a problem, and especially in light of how well the bag does what I need it to do, is fairly negligible. Overall, I'm really pleased.

Works Great
I love this wetbag as much as you could love something that holds your kids dirty diapers. We pack it every morning for day care, clean go in the front pocket, dirty goes in the main pocket. I can get a week or so before washing by turning it inside out every night and wiping it down.

you will need to address those dirty diapers! Careful how you wash it
Works well and keeps odors out for 2-3 days. Any longer than that....you will need to address those dirty diapers! Careful how you wash it. I did accidentally wash the entire thing with HOT water and the outer canvas bag shrunk a bit. The liner doesn't lay flat inside any more.

PUL destroyed after 4 uses!
Loved this bag but after only 4 uses the PUL has broken and it is no longer water resistant. Dirty diapers now saturate the bag instantly. Pretty disappointed in the quality of this product. We have two other Planet Wise pail liners that have done great after a year of use. This bag was only used for occasional travel and was meant to last a lot longer than it did! I bought a much cheaper one after this one stopped working and have been much happier. Wish I would have saved my money!
