It states on the description that it is rechargeable. Received the lightbar and it is not rechargeable.

Very comfortable, not as bright as I would have liked. However still very bright. This will make a great headlamp for working on my cars and other fix it projects.

It was the battery model with no red light. However it was this description for unusually low price so i thought i was getting a deal. Either way would recommend. Might look at the other if you want a cheaper option and don't mind it not being rechargeable and no red light feature. I may get this as it state bugs are not attracted to the red light.

This is better then a regular round head lamp..It puts light all over the place..If you working under something like a car,truck counter or crawl space. You will be able to see.It also works great walking in the dark...

Not worth it, should use a standard head lamp instead.

The Battery Pack fits snuggly inside of the sleeve pocket at the rear of the head band. The headlamp is made up of 16 SMD 5050 LEDs. The lamp is 7.69 Oz.First thing I tested was the comfortability of the head band/strap. The head band is adjustable to fit. It is comfortable and feels much like you are wearing a baseball cap. The only downside to this configuration is that the battery pack is situated directly behind the head. So if you are working on your back for instance under a vehicle. It can be uncomfortable and there is no real way to move it unless you take it out of its sleeve. But then it hangs freely.The Head Lamp itself is 500 lumens which is bright enough for most needs. The LEDs can be all white or all red and there are 3 light levels for each. I found in testing, the light to be sufficient. While you have 210 degree range of light .. sometimes you just want to light focused directly in front of you. But if you are needing peripheral light as well as .. this is the product for you. I tested this out in the assembly of a Wood Burning Stove and the headlamp made it so much easier to install items on the inside .. where you would previously have to hold flashlight or put it inside and try to point it to the work location. I also tested this in a dark garage to reset a tripped circuit breaker. It worked as designed and the lamp give a nice wide light. It is not an intense light but adequate for most needs.The battery connects to a custom USB cable for charging. So if you lose it .. you are out of luck or have to see if you can purchase a new one. The product came fully charged and ready to go which was nice. The description also says that you can use 3 AAA 1.5v batteries to power this product. But I have not been able to figure out how that works. Possibly something you have to purchase additionally. The head lamp is definitely light weight and useful. After continued use of more than 5 minutes or so, you will notice the band start to warm. It is not uncomfortably warm but on a hot day .. it could be irritating. The LED strip heats up and transfers some of that heat back to the head band.The manufacturer claims this is water proof rated. However, I cannot find an IP65, IP66 or IP67 rating anywhere which is typically considered water proof. It could just be an oversight. However, it would be nice if the manufacturer backed up the claim. That being said, the head lamp is solidly made and appears to be at the very least water resistant.I was unable to locate any warranty information.All in all, this is a fantastic head lamp. It can be worn on the head or over a hat or helmet. The product stood up to all my testing and I found it to be a useful tool. The light is sufficient for most needs and the hands free light solution allows you to use both hands for the job at hand. This product isn't cheap but it is not a novelty either. It is solidly made and well worth a few extra dollars for a rechargeable hands free light system.This product is made in China
