ARCTIC F8 Silent - 80 mm Case Fan, Extra quiet motor, Computer, Almost inaudible, Push- or Pull Configuration, Fan Speed: 1200 RPM - Black/White

Got this to replace the stock fan on the Ender 3 v2. After my first mainboard died from overheating and Creality wouldn't replace it even though the printer is 3 months old, it was clear that I needed to ensure that my new board purchased from Amazon would not run into the same overheating.So I printed the housing and the fan was suggested by one of the youtube 3d printer folks.Printed the housing, wired in the buck converter and the fan is the right solution.Spins quiet, move a good amount of air, it checks all the boxes.Thanks Arctic!

Replaced the two stock Sunon Maglev 3600 RPM factory installed intake and exhaust fans in my Eaton 5PX 1000VA rack mount UPS. I used two Arctic F8 Silent 3-pin fans. You have to modify the Arctic F8 fans black-yellow-green 3-pin fan connector wires to match up with the red-black-yellow Sunon fan connector wires. I tried other brands of 80mm fans but none of them worked as the UPS would report a fan error. Not with these babies. They are near whisper quiet. I now have my rack mount UPS right up next to my desk and can barely hear it. These fans run at 1200 RPM do the job nicely moving just the right amount of air without all the noise. I recommend these for anyone that has a loud noisy jet engine UPS fan screaming inside your home office. Simple replacement for peace and quiet.

They won't be producing any tornadoes in your room thats for sure but on the plus side you can sleep like a baby with these bad boys attached to your EARS cuz they are whisper quiet! My power supply fan and processor are audible now since these things are so quiet and I joke but they push enough air in the negative airflow configuration to keep the processor area cool enough for non overclocked madness if you don't have a triple fanned overclocked RTX video card running 5 simultaneous windows of Battlefield 1 on ultra max setting with ray tracing. DO NOT rely on buying just 1, get 2 they will equal the airflow of 1 regular style loud fan

I used these in a 400 watt ATX power supply. Install was not that easy as one of the originals was soldered in and the other had a different connector. They are both quieter than the CPU fan! That being said, the power supply runs hotter than it did with the original fans. The air coming out of the back is warm. The originals had much higher air flow and felt cool at the exhaust. The CPU temp has not been affected by the lower air flow out of the power supply, so I'm staying with them. If these get noisy in the future, I'll probably find fans with a higher CFM rating.

Really just one word to describe it- QUIET. My box is quiet but I really wanted an extra fan to push the hot air out at the top of PC tower but really did not want to increase the noise level. With this fan, it actually did not increase the noise level. It seems to be single speed, at least I could not change the speed of the fan. So, the good news is that it is ultra quiet, the bad news is that my PC case ambiance temperature was not changed either.

This fan is MUCH quieter than generic fan I replaced, which was only a bit cheaper. I monitor my computer internal temperature with Argus Monitor. After replacing the fan, my average CPU temperature dropped by about 10 C, and GPU temperature also dropped by about 5 to 10 C.

It is silent but it is also not efficient at all as you can barely feel any airflow. Moreover, why would a simple case fan be Not eligible for a return? There is no battery or any material that would make it such. Would it be possible for the company Arctic to mislead Amazon in their product's material and hazardous state?

I used this fan in an itx build. Replaced the fan that came with the case, it was very loud. I was going to buy a noctua but I read the reviews on the artic and was half the price. IInstalled it and the airflow is good, also it is very quiet.
