ZamberlanMens 1006 N.VIOZ Plus Gore-Tex RR WL Leather Boots

I bought five pair of montrail GTX before they phased them out. They are known as a high volume boot in wide,which is what I bought. This boot is longer for the same 9 and 1/2 size and as wide. I'm going to order a nine and see how this fits. I'm definitely going to have a zamberlan when the day is done! An update, I bought a size nine and they fit better in the toe length,longer still than my nine and a half montrails, THESE BOOTS FIT MY FEET PERFECTLY! I hate to admit it but I also bought a pair of the 1996 lux hiking boots, in a nine they were perfect length but just too darn narrow for me so I bought them in a 9-1/2 and while a little to long they are just wide enough to work for me. Oh the things you do for love! Although don't tell my wife I just went through 680$ bucks for two pair of boots!!

Great materials and a substantial hiking/backpacking boot - very cushy inside and firm sole absorbs anything you could step on. I wear a 13 EE in nearly all boots and shoes. This was listed as a 13E. With a wide forefoot and relatively narrow heel this boot will not work for me due to the heel being too wide. The firm heel cup and band around the bottom of the shoe make for a boot that either fits or doesn't. On inclines, my heels slip and press against the hard boot cup causing pain. Only other complaint is lacing system could be a bit better. Overall great boot if you want a relatively heavy hiker and have "normal" width heels.

These boots would have been perfect if the toe box did not slant back so sharply, it's like a standard toe box was grafted onto a wide foot. Very shortly after trying them on my toes started going numb. Other than that, the boot seemed perfect. It fit my wide feet comfortably and securely. The heel lock in particular felt sturdy and molded to my foot. The boot was obviously well constructed with awesome looking leather that would take a beating.

Love the build on this boot. Quality. I have worn them everyday (two weeks) to work trying to break them in before a backpacking trip. I don't think they will be broken in in time for my trip next week. They are hitting across the top of the balls of my feet. If I keep them loose they are okay, when I tighten them down a bit it cuts off circulation. Hoping they just need to be broken in.

This is a great boot. They fit and feel good rt out of the box. My foot is m size 9 , I was told to order a half size smaller cause they run big. My foot is wide for my size and this boot was designed for a wide foot, as i was told from one of their reps, I found that the boot was just a little narrow in the toe area for my foot, so i order a size 9 and they where to big, so I changed out the insole on the 8&half boot for one just a bit thinner and they feel Great.... Their so comfortable I wear them as a every day shoe...

When I first read about the shoe I thought finally a good hiking boot for wide feet. But then I went to the size picker and it had size 12 m. I decided to take a chance anyway. When the shoe came it fit perfect. I've been wearing them for a week now and I really like the support and feel.

This is the one that I've been looking for. Even perfect waterproofing on snow all day long. Thnks for Zamberlan families...
