picture is very good, but the picture begin delay after 2 hours.
I am using 49" 4K TV, when using DVDO-ISCAN-Micro-PRO :Good :- input source in 720P, 1080i, 1080P, the picture made it very colorful and very sharp. (480p is bad)- this item can output to 4k60p (darbxx's items cannot), and support 3D.- lowest cost in market (unfortunately, only have 2 "items" can made 4K60p picture in market)Bad:- picture must be delay because the item only can keep in backside of TV. in my case, after playing 2 hours, my TV's temperature become "warm"(warm only, not hot) and made the item "warm" (warm only, not hot), then picture must be arise a lot of delay. now I am using a fan to cool down, it's work & little picture delay but the fan made some sound noise.Suggestion:if you want to make good quality in 4K picture for TV network box, bluray, ps4, this item is very good in resonable price.

I am not impressed, tried with projector/DirecTV
So I paid for a DVDO iScan Mini from Amazon, but what was sent to me was an iScan micro. Fortunately I couldn't find an Owner's Manual in the packaging, so I was doing internet searches, and ended up seeing that the remote for the mini is different from the remote that I got - and then it clicked that Amazon had sent me the wrong item.Anyhow, I ended up hooking up the micro to my system and tested it out. I have to say that I am not a big fan of what it does. There are 3 options (Off, Low and High). I was switching between Off and High so I could see if there were any differences, and the differences were easy to notice. What I saw, and didn't like, was that things had like a halo around them in High mode. Kind of like a white line that goes around the whole body to pronounce the body.I tried switching from Off to Low and didn't see any difference at all.I called Amazon and told them that they sent me the wrong item and they asked if I wanted a refund or have them send me the correct item. After trying the micro I opted for the refund. Maybe the mini is much better, but I have more doubts now than I did before I tried this one. When you install this, you will need to do it at the location of your projector/TV, or in between just ONE of your sources (DirecTV box, OR blu-ray, OR PS4, etc). The reason you can't install it for ALL of your sources (and not on your projector/TV) is because one end of this product has about a 6 inch HDMI out built into it, I would have preferred to not have that HDMI cord built into the unit and just let me plug in my own HDMI into the out port.

how easy this thing is to use
To say that this product actually improve the image quality to an "wow" factor? is a stretch. but than again, this device should be try by you, if it don't work (like it didn't for me) then return it and get your $$ back.5 stars for, how easy this thing is to use.2 starts for, how cheap it looks and feels. (but it looks better behind the tv)1 star for, it didn't work for me.5 stars for, shipping speed, got it on time.

This does not work, period. Tried this on multiple monitors and TV. All 4k. Nothing, it does not sync with any of the devices. I power it with USB, plugin HDMI cable, plug the device to my 4K TV and two 4K monitors. The device does not output anything.

Great product.
I was considering buying the darbee darblet 5000 or 5100 when I became aware of this product. After some Internet research on some french home cinema sites it appeared that enthusiasts there preferred the dvdo technologies and image appearance on screen. I was also aware that the dvdo micro's bigger brother the mini had received a strong recommendation in a UK home cinema magazine. Having used it for some time now I definitely feel it makes a visible difference to my full 1080p 120 inch projected image. More so when you turn it off after having had it switched on as images such as faces now look more blurry especially around the eyes than without dvdo processing. The projector I have is already recognised for excellent image sharpness and this and the 3 dimensional look of images is definitely visibly improved with this product. I suspect the smaller your screen the less noticeable the effect. In hindsight the dvdo mini might have been the better product for me as the micro only has off, low and high settings with low giving no visible improvement to my eyes and high introducing some visible sharpening artefacts to blu ray images, especially with animation. I personally got around this problem by switching from a newer award winning sony blu ray player which was recognised for its image sharpness and detail which exacerbated the dvdo processing artefacts at high setting on screen by reverting to an older sony blu ray with a softer native on screen image. I then played around with my amplifier and the blu ray and projector sharpness noise reduction and upscaling settings and after some experimentation have the best image quality I've yet achieved almost uhd like with some high quality blu ray transfers. If I'd gone with the dvdo mini which allows you to set the percentage strength of the effect I could most likely have stuck with my main blu ray player and simply dialled the dvdo processing down to maybe 65% or so.Barring this limited range of image strength processing settings it's a great product I'd now not be without.
