This item arrived quickly. It is comfortable and is just what I wanted. However I agree with another customer, the smell is awful. It fills the room and is s damp or musty smell. I have washed the cover and the foam sections are covered in plastic which I removed and washed but the foam is where the smell is. I used a fabric smell remover on each section and although the smell is still there, it is not overpowering and is only noticeable when you sniff the foam. I presume it is a fire retardant chemical. The item didn’t come in a box only a plastic covering. Without the smell the item would have got 5 stars.

I'm building a single berth microcamper and planned on using caravan cushions which were too thick really. This item seems to solve all of my problems. Wouldn't want it any thicker, just about right and size is exactly as stated in the description.It does smell slightly as it has been treated for flame resistance, had this before and it goes eventually. I have only laid in the car (to my neighbours amusement) and am sure it will be fine for a few days away.As far as the comments re price, I think it's good value considering the price of foam rubber nowadays.

Good overall. Fast delivery but a little stain on one of the sides. Also, not quite thick, making it a bit uncomfortable when you sit on it. Not a very good sponge inside plus the cover is not soft and i just a blank on it. Not bad for sleeping but not great for sitting which is the main reason I got it. Still good in general but I'd not buy again.

I dread night time when camping, since the inflatable mattresses either deflate or circulate cold air and the self-inflating mattresses are bearable, but hardly comfortable. This mattress, on the other hand, doesn't feel that different from lying on a firm bed. It folds up and 4 of these should fit in the car as essential camping items, although during lockdown, they're going into the tent in the garden.

The most disappointing thing about this mattress which is very important in my opinion is that the dimensions are not as described. The description says 21cm deep/high when folded, I had measured that this so that I knew it would fit under the bed for storage. The mattress when folded is 26cm high, thereby making it too big to store under the bed. I know have a big folded square of foam in the corner of my living room and I have no where to put it. This is very disappointing, as I will likely have to get rid of it. Other than that, the mattress is comfortable but the key element of a guest/emergency bed like this is surely that its easy to store when not needed!

I bought this floor mattress for guest sleepovers and have slept on it myself a few nights to test it out. Easy to fold, good thickness and firm foam. Had a strong fabric chemical smell, but I got rid off the smell in minutes by spraying Febreze fabric freshener on the mattress itself.

Decent enough thickness to make for a good nights sleep.Long enough for your average human ( I would say anyone over 5’11” would feel the need to curl up a wee bit, but who sleeps flat anyway??!)

Sadly this does not come with handles as per the description so I'm returning it and hoping to buy a similar one that does have handles. It was comfortable when I tested it on the floor in my lounge so a shame it would be grey cumbersome to transport without the handlesAlso annoying having to return such a large item that was delivered in a plastic bag only
