This is THE mare's milk replacement if you need a product like this. We have a mini-horse foal who became ill with pneumonia and hospitalized very shortly after birth. Additionally, her mom was unable to nurse her due to a teat problem. They put her on this and actually taught her to drink from a bowl. She has thrived ever since, 3 months and counting. We also adopted an orphan newborn from a horse kill pen... same thing, taught her to drink from a bowl, and she's doing great at around 2 1/2 months. They have no digestion issues and they are happy and energetic. Can't say enough good about Foal-Lac. Stick with this instead of the others. You won't regret it.
