Best among the bunch- 3 stars because they failed after a day
I hardly ever give a product 5 stars, but I've tried my fair share of earphones at this point and I think these are really great. I've just ventured into the wireless earphones market and I am very happy to have only gone through one dud before finding these.I bought these after purchasing the Jaybird Wireless Earphones. They were awful:- heavy on the ears so couldn't stand up to any exercise requiring quick movement- When turning up or down the volume, it pauses the music and beeps- The provided ear buds were rough and very uncomfortable (got some relief when I switched them out for my very comfortable beats earbuds- there was no bass- The way the earbuds were positioned, it did not direct the music directly into your ear canal so it sounded like the music was sitting outside my ears and far away (which is funny, because the directions boast that the set-up directs the music directly into your ears). These earphones are great because:- They are surprisingly comfortable and not as heavy as I thought they would feel after picking them up- soft cushiony earbud replacements- music directed into your ear- great bass for earbuds- did not fall off or move during my intense workout this morning. made sure to incorporate lots of quick movements to test them outwhat's not so great:- They started to hurt my ears about 30 minutes in because with the way they're set up, they clamp your ear is a sort of vice fore a secure fit. After a wall, it started feeling tight and uncomfortable. I'm going to play around with the adjustments to see if this can be fixed. It will therefore not be so great meanwhile listening to them when I'm not at the gym. Luckily, my gym workouts cap out at 50 minutes, but I don't know if this would become a dealbreaker if i were a marathon runner. Also, just discovered that there's an app. Love that! have only downloaded it so don't know what it offers, but so far looks like GPS and food tracking. this might possibly replace myfitnesspall because i hate that i can't integrate with it. I use the Motorolla Motoactv as my fitness tracker.**edit**Bluetooth pairing stopped working the second day of use. I called Denon and convinced them to send me a free shipping label. Sent it back last week. Not sure when I'll receive my replacement, as there was no tracking. Very disappointing and after a day of wireless, reverting back to my regular earphones is awful!!!

comftoble, lightweight and durable.
I have been a loyal customer of denon headphones for the past 3 or 4 years and I must say, as usual that I am not disappointed, I have owned 5 denon headphones in total 1 in ear and the rest over the ear, 2 of which are still with me, the denon ah-d1100, ah5000.I was looking for a wireless in-ear headphones for doing sport with without having to deal with all the wire clutter than comes with the normal headphones, and I have came a cross a handful of choices, from sony to jabra, but then I came across denons excerise freak and the other travel varient, sony was an appealing alternative, but since I already know what denon has to offer in terms of sound quality, build, and comfort I was leaning more toward it.so why did I give it a 5 star.well sound quality is always according to your taste, so what I find good may not be so good for others.built quality: the headphones body is made out of a rubbery plastic, which seems to be able to withstand sweat and normal handling, the play and call bottoms are also plastic rubbery but they are little hard under the outer shell, so you get kinda of klicky feelings into them, and they are a little stiff to press, but its understandable given your going to use it while doing sports so stiffness is important( when your blood is pumped and sweaty you won`t really have the mind to press delicately. so its a big plus for me, the volume bottoms are made of plastic and are conveniently placed for easy controls.also when I purchased the headphones I wondered about next and previous bottoms, do I have to bring out my phone every time I want to skip a track?. not really, denon intergated all these controls in the play bottoms, so if you want to next a track press the play 3 time , if you want to previous a track you press twice. some of you might not find this appealing but when I first figured it out I was really surprised, since this minimizes the design greatly and makes it a real ease to find the simply press one bottom for everything.sound quality:- of course subjective to each person, but let me tell you one thing, BASS! BASS! and BASS!, denon did not lie when they said they have a subwoofer build inside the headphones, but don`t get me wrong, this doesn`t mean that its all muddy and bassy, not at all, yes they are on the low frequency side but mids and trebs are very detailed and clear, the bass is deep and heavy but it doesn`t overwhelm the other frequencies, and you can hear the other details in your songs overall it sounds great, but I must tell you, I have never owned an in ear headphones that has so much low frequency, I have only been able to achieve this rumbling bass by a hi fi subwoofer with a dedicated active subwoofer and you can always use the equalizer in denon sport app or poweramp app.connectivity: havn`t had any difficulty with paring, once paired with my phone, its done, just turn on your bluetooth in your phone and press the play bottom in your headphones and it will start playing where you started off ( if you downloaded denon sport app.), in the manual denon recommend you place your phone above waist but I had no issues when placed in my pocket.price and value: well if you have never had a wireless headphones before and looking for one for sport or otherwise ( travel varients w200) then I highly recommend you go with denon, you will be surprised of the amount of freedom you get with wireless, its much easier to train with and even when doing other stuff like working around the house and such.I hope this was helpful, havn`t tried the mic and didn`t measure the battery life but it seems decent.

Good fit, deep bass, easy to use.
Lengthy review this but hopefully useful. A good few years ago i bought some Sennheiser ear-buds for use in the gym and found them to be excellent - good deep bass, crisp response and fitted well. Unfortunately even though they lasted for many years one of the buds stopped working but without hesitation i bought another pair. Unfortunately the newer version were not quite as good, the bass wasn't as deep and the fit wasn't as good with any of the 'covers' that came with them and i was constantly having to push and adjust them to try to get them to stay put and to give a decent sound. On comparing the old and new I discovered this was because the newer version didn't sit as deep into my ear canal as the older version - the actual bud didn't protrude as far from the main body.Cue the move to wireless earbuds to try to reduce the drag on the buds from the cable. I looked on the review sites and dismissed the Beats2 immediately because it was owned by Apple and they're also over £100 which i couldn't justify. Most reviews said they were loud and bass-y but a couple said the sound quality was bit dull, not as crisp as others, and being used to the quality of the Sennheisers that put me off almost as much as them being Apple.Reading a couple of top10 reviews the Jabra models etc came out well but when comparing the actual audio response spec's etc the Denon's came out better but they didn't have all the 'sports' related gizmo's the others had which lost them points in the reviews. I'm not bothered about my earphones knowing how unfit i am and Denon is a brand i know well from home Hifi so i opted for these and i'm really pleased i did.The fit is good, the bud sits as deep as the old Sennheisers so the bass is excellent and as i would expect from Denon it's precise bass, not flabby booming. If anyone has read any reviews about bluetooth giving lower sound quality then they shouldn't worry with these, if there is a lowering of quality then i can't tell the difference and i'm quite picky with the quality of my tunes. Whatever the system is that Denon have used then it clearly works.I haven't used the call functions yet so i can't advise on how good that is, but setting them up intially is p'easy and i've used them most nights for a week down the gym before i had to recharge them. Very pleased!

Mit sportlichem GrußJo.Be.

他の商品はBluetooth4.1を謳ったものが多いですが、この商品はBluetooth3.0です。

Broken after Two Months
Purchased these headphones for use at the gym. Decided on the Denon AH-W150BK Exercise Freaks as they were said to have excellent sound quality. One thing I didn't consider was durability. If you read reviews here on Amazon and on other websites you'll find that these headphones aren't truly sweat-proof and it is common for them to break after only a couple of months of use.If you're thinking using Exercise Freaks while exercising I'd recommend you look elsewhere.
