Awesomely functional!
I bought this watch for camping, kayaking and hunting. I have another Timex Expedition which is just too nice to wear in some situations. I am finding this watch to be pretty awesome! It's big, it's macho and it's very useful. I am 5'7, medium build and I don't think the watch looks too big on me. I have been wearing it for about two weeks and like it a lot. It is accurate, rugged, very large and easy to see, both in daylight and at night, which is great for us folks with poor eyesight. The watch is easy to set up and use. The vibration alarm is strong enough to wake me up and just in case it doesn't the back up BEEP, BEEP, BEEP will do the trick. That said I am a fairly light sleeper. The Indiglo works great and can be set so any button will light it up. There are three alarms, as well as a special reminder alarm, they are simple to set and simple to use. There is a hydration alarm which I doubt I'll ever need...The band is pretty comfortable. I've read complaints about the band being near impossible to get off, but I find it simple and I'm typically not the most coordinated person in the world. I have found no negatives for this watch yet, except maybe the green color. If you're in the Army it should be a perfect fit!

always in the way.
This item is just too big I've had it on my mom for about 5 min and it should on the dresser for the rest of the time because it's just in the way I would not buy it again I wanted to return it but I waited too long.

2 Year Old And Still Going Strong
Firstly this is no G shock, but in many ways for me thats a major plus, one example there are more, the date is the right way round. Day / Month. It's a watch you'll wear, care little about and all the functions are simple to use with large easy to press buttons. The watch addresses one issue I have, failing eyesight, the face is large enough for me to see the time without glasses. The watch sits fairly comfortably on my thin wrist but stands tall at 18mm, case is 55mm and lug to lug another 55mm so it's a fairly bulky watch, bear this in mind. I also needed a semi-rugged watch which this is without feeling heavy and this watch isn't heavy due to the nearly all plastic construction except for the stainless steel back. The glass / mineral face I'm assuming it is one or the other is recessed slightly into the rubber bezel which will save it from being scratched. Another useful feature for me is I can set time 1 in 12 hour format, time 2 in 24 hr format and toggle between 12 and 24 hr time at the press of the top right button or toggle between my preferred time zones. Continually hold the top right button to change from T1, T2 or T3. Again hold and press the middle right Indiglo button continually which will then change to night mode so when you press any of the buttons the Indiglo light illuminates the face and automatically resets after 4 hours or so.The resin strap is OK, comfortable enough with a notch that holds it securely in place to the strap loop, it's not a soft strap like rubber or silicon, but its fine "18mm" if you want to swap it for a NATO strap. 200 hundred meters waterproof so safe to wear if you have a swim, personally I wouldn't wear any watch in the shower or bath simply because steam can get through the gaskets and soap will eventually compromise them. The watch has 3 alarms which can be set to chime and vibrate or vibrate only if you're in say an examination room, it has a chronograph, a timer, "occasions" which is a calendar with preset events, such as bill to pay, birthday doctor appointment, meeting etc, and a hypa function which is a reminder to drink fluid. Also the Indiglo night light which I personally think is the best illumination on a watch. After wearing this watch pretty much night and day for about a two years, at work which is heavy industrial labor, beach trips, swimming in pools / sea etc, dropping it numerous times on hard floors / pavements there's not a mark on it. It's still an ugly looking watch in my opinion but it's kinda something you get used to, obviously this isn't jewelry. One issue I found is with the soft black rubber bezel it started to warp and eventually came away from the watch which was no big deal and does not affect the water resistance of the watch and nothing super glue can't put right. Oh it also keeps very good time which is good, minus 3 seconds roughly every 30 days on mine.Disclaimer, "I paid for this myself", either during a lightning deal or full price. Please excuse spelling & grammarAlso A1 service from the seller.

Good anti slip strap locking idea
Large chunky dial. Good anti slip strap locking idea. Normally rubber/resin straps eventually 'ping' open.

Its a no-brainer!
I required a Vibration watch. Firstly purchased the Casio that was four times the cost of this Timex. So hard to program and also kept changing to a different timezone. Then I purchased this cheap Timex. It simply does the Job with definite advantages over the Casio 1. Easy to use 2. Can deactivate unused menu items 3. Large easy to read display - Its a no-brainer!
