Easy Ironing
I absolutely love this iron. It glides on my clothing when I am using it and makes ironing easy and quick. Before I purchased this iron, I was using a very cheap, no-name brand iron that I purchased for less than ten dollars and it was hard to use and didn't take the wrinkles out of my clothes. However, when I bought and used the Panasonic Dry and Steam Iron, I was amazed at how smooth it was. I was able to iron a pair of pants and blouse in record-breaking time. Yes! I would definitely recommend this iron to anyone because it is definitely worth the money.

Lightweight and great little steam iron
Love this little iron with its retractable cord. I use it for my sewing crafts which call for the steam setting quite often. It warms to the steam setting very quickly. It works perfectly for my needs.

Great product overall
I bought this to replace my 30 year old Panasonic iron. I love all the features except for one thing and that is the plastic dial on/off switch. I'm afraid this will break in no time. Heats up fast, love the amount of water it holds so the steamer lasts a long time. I like the shape of it too and the retractable cord.

Just what I needed at a good price
As a quilter I need an iron that is hot, light weight, with a retractable cord and durable. Price was right. Have only used it for a month.

Gets hot with loads of steam
This iron actually gets hot enough! I don't know whether it is a perceived safety issue or the fact that irons are now plastic instead of metal but the last couple irons I had just didn't get hot enough to press wrinkled cotton. Not only does this do the job but there are two settings for steam -- low and high -- and the high is continuous steam. No more having to spray what I'm ironing with water. (An extra step I could do without.) It's got all the bells and whistles too -- auto off, blast of steam to clean, retractable chord, etc.I have to say that the safety warnings in the instructions are getting super ridiculous. Like telling you that every time you finish ironing, empty the water from the iron, turn it off and unplug it because this or that MIGHT happen. Does the company really think I'm going to do that every time? Get real.July 2. I'm disappointed because this iron (E250TR) does NOT have auto-off. Someone answered the question incorrectly. It's got a plastic dial that you have to turn off every time and my concern is it doesn't feel like it's going to withstand years of turning on and off. But we'll see.

Very hot, does what it says it will do
About a year ago we purchased a $100+ iron from Rowenta, thinking that we were buying something of quality. While it was much heavier and solid than this Panasonic iron, from "day 1" it leaked water, and eventually began staining our clothes with rusted interior components. My wife says this Panasonic iron gets much hotter than the Rowenta (which is important as most of the stuff we iron is cotton), and it does not leak water like the Rowenta. Also, unlike the Rowenta it has a retractable cord, which is convenient. So, perhaps the Chinese have surpassed the Germans in their manufacturing prowess! And at 20% of the cost, if we have to replace in a couple of years who cares?I'm rating 5 stars, because it does what it says it will do, and at the $23 we paid for it it's just a great value.

6mths old and leaks/splashes scalding water over your hands!
I bought this because it bragged of great steam! I am a quilter and have constant folded wrinkled fabric to iron. You have to have steam! This didnt even last 6 mths before it started leaking and within a couple of weeks it literally sloshed the water out over my hands! Its not a drop. I had to tuen the steam off and dump it out. So very disappointed, i don’t have the money to replace right now.,
