ASUS F1A75-M PRO/CSM FM1 Socket A75 SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.0 mATX AMD A75 FCH Micro ATX DDR3 1800 AMD –FM1 Motherboard

I used this motherboard for additional work computers' build. Put it into a small tower case ( CoolMaster N200 ) with a 650 watt Power Supply from Corsair (more power than I need, I know, but can be reused for future builds).I've built over 20 computers. My general impression is that ASUS is a notch above the competition when it comes to motherboards.Installing the CPU, Heat Sink, RAM is all standard fair. Installed into the case easy with the IO shield. Nothing exceptional.After cable management and getting into the BIOS, this was were the experience shined: Easy mode if you just want to plug and set to auto ; Advanced mode if you want to tinker (or even over clock!).Loaded OS & wham bam thank you Asus for a pleasant experience.Also, can't complain about the price$$!

Buying a new motherboard is always difficult. Finding the best motherboard possible involves considering many factors. Price, Performance, Quality, Purpose, Features are important. There are trade offs that need to be made. Specifications have to be met. The purpose of the computer must be fully supported by the motherboard. You will never really know if all is in harmony until after you power it up for the first time. The motherboard is where the computer's personality lives. I call her "Kagura".There were no surprises or disappointments with this motherboard. The features of the motherboard are exactly as promised. It is easy to overclock. I like the UEFI bios. I like everything about this board!Here comes Kagura!

This go getter worked as promised. No complaints, just satisfaction. A word to the wise, though... mo-bo replacement is not for the noob.If you are going to replace this yourself, you better know what you're doing. Otherwise, take it to yr local guru or computer repair.It's a fine upgrade, well worth the price.

No cons about the except just one. I'm not sure if it is the board or the CPU. I installed Kingston 1866MHz memory and it would not work on 1866. I had to bring it down to 1600Mhz. Besides the windows experience for memory performance was only 5.9 and I expected >7.0. My other computer is running 1066 DDR2 with Gigabyte MB and Athlon x2 64 cpu and the memory performance index is 7.1. The cpu I purchased for this Asus MB is AMD A8-3870K. Anyway, the overall performance is great, can't notice any lagging.

I have used the ASUS board for many years. I had intended to keep it as a back-up for another board, but have changed my mind and now building a new server with it and the AMD A8 3870K that I had been holding onto for a few years.

When the board firest arrived and was set up I could not update the BIOS.Called ASUS and walked through everything with their support tech and finally had to send it to ASUS to replace the BIOS chip and now it works great.

This is the last best FM1 motherboard available.
