Good sound, install a little difficult
I purchased this system a couple years ago and installed it myself. I had very limited wiring experience and it showed. The instructions weren't that great. I did have to troubleshoot it a while before I got it to work right. The instructions showed you how to wire the compressor then most of the parts but it was separate instructions for each item. It would've been better to have one set of instructions and just go through step by step. Instead once you followed each set of instructions the system was not complete and you had to guess on some things to get it to work. I do remember my local shop wanted $800 to install it, on top of the $800 price tag (I paid sales tax buying it locally). Which is why I did it myself. Once it was all done, I was very happy with the sound of it. My mechanic was not- he said it went off twice on its own in his shop with no one around it when I left it there for a couple days. I left this system in my suburban when I sold it, now I'm thinking of buying it again because it sounds great. My silverado needs help- I have a 10" lifted truck and cars pull in front of me every day. I honk my horn and it sounds like a hyundai to me. I gave this 4 stars because of the instructions. The system sounds great and held up for the year I had it. I had it all mounted in a frame rail, including the horns! This thing is so loud you don't have to mount it up front! If it weren't for the instructions I would've given it 5 stars.

I got a Lemmon system I guess.
Be careful with this product. I installed myself and have more problems than not. Solonoids go bad often and now my compressor is leaking like a siv.The horn was badass for about a month, the last 10 months I have put too much time, effort and money fixing problems with it than what it’s worth.
