Springer vs Springer comparison
Comparing:Siege Springer: https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-E4491AS00-Springer-Action-Figure/dp/B07D5RCXS9/ref=sr_1_2?crid=38USO4QIEXS6Q&keywords=transformers+generations+springer&qid=1647883254&sprefix=transformers+generations+springer%2Caps%2C188&sr=8-2toThrilling 30 Springer: https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Generations-Voyager-Autobot-Springer/dp/B00ATA2T9Q/ref=sr_1_3?crid=38USO4QIEXS6Q&keywords=transformers+generations+springer&qid=1647883254&sprefix=transformers+generations+springer%2Caps%2C188&sr=8-3Overall: I really like both Figures, and I'd recommend getting both. I've had the older "thrilling 30" figure for several years to the point I have a nostalgic connection to it. So take this with a grain of salt: I like the overall look and feel of the Thrilling 30 version: the Robot mode is sturdy: it's made out of sturdier plastic, it’s taller, and the accessories have some functionality to them as opposed to Siege. Seeing the thrilling 30 version on my shelf makes me just a bit happier. The thrilling 30 transformation is "cleaner" as in it can be transformed to car and copter mode with more ease and comes together better than siege with one exception: the helicopter blades peg/hole on the thrilling 30 doesn't have enough clearance and it was difficult to remove when I transformed him out of helicopter mode. I also like the thrilling 30 weapons better: the gun is larger and functional and seems appropriately size for the character: the broadsword is also huge and it transforms into the helicopter blades with its own slick little transformation.Siege on the other hand makes me happy for different reasons: he looks almost like he stepped out of the movie and looks great alongside Studio Hot Rod and Blurr. The robot play value is greater if you value that it comes with 2 guns and 2 swords vs thrilling 30's 1 gun and 1 sword, and siege Springer has weapon ports all over. Siege also has better overall articulation. It’s also in scale with the newer figures: for example, Siege Springer is just shorter than Kingdom Rodimus Prime while Thrilling 30 Springer is taller than Kingdom Rodimus and Siege Springer. Please note: I've transformed the thrilling 30 version several times and I'm very comfortable with it while I've only done the siege version once at this pointI have very limited display space or play time. Currently in my display I have the thrilling 30 version on a shelf with Kingdom Rodimus, Kingdom Ultra Magnus, and the Legends (Takara) Blurr and Legends (Takara) Wheelie and they look great together. I changed out the Thrilling 30 Springer and Legends Blurr with the Siege Springer and Studio Blurr and it just didn't look as good to me so I went back to Thrilling 30 and Legends versions. I currently have Siege Springer hanging out with Studio Hot Rod and Studio Blurr elsewhere on another table and they look good together: the color balance of the reds, oranges, yellows, greens, and blues all fit well. Both Springers have complex-ish transformations so whomever you're purchasing it for should be patient. I've seen reviews complaining about both figures' transformations so there's some skill involved. I will say that I'm comfortable with the transformation of the thrilling 30 version far more than the siege: when I transformed the siege figure I either didn't quite get the clearances correct or my figure's tolerances were off just enough to not be clean. So thrilling 30 might edge out siege in finished transformation. They both look great and are fun to mess around with. I think the older figure has better build quality, but at the end of the day it's a toy. Both are fun to play with and fiddle around with. So if your goal is a fun toy you will be happy with, both will do the job. If you want something constructed a little better with a cleaner transformation, then thrilling 30 may be the better figure. But if you want one that looks like the cartoon, or you’re going to leave it in robot mode then you may want the siege figure.

Fun to transformer
Nice piece for my collection. Transformer is tight and well made.

Great G1 Springer at a bargain price
This is a great Springer figure. Probably the best official one so far. All three modes are very faithful to G1 cartoon, which is the main reason I bought it. Transformation is intuitive and not overly complex. You can probably figure it out without the instruction but I wouldn’t recommend this, cuz some parts do feel flimsy and could be broken if handled improperly. The construction is all plastic, as expected from this line. Posability is good with his arms and legs. His head can turn left and right, but has very limited up and down movement. Unfortunately, his hands are just fists with holes in which you can plug his rifle or swords. The weathering and over-emphasized panel lines may turn some people off. But those are just the characteristics of the Siege line, and I think the painting gave it a more metallic feel. It’s not MP scale. But you can still pose with other MP figures with clever placement (all MP Not-Springers are simply way too big) So, if you have waited years for a quality G1 Springer from Hasbro, definitely get this one. It could have been better. But at 30 bucks, there really isn’t much to complain.

Amazing figure with forgivable flaws
I have always loved Springer, and this is a fantastic looking, dare I say it... best looking version of him to date! BUT... the vehicle modes... his vehicle modes are some of the toughest of any Transformers I've owned over the years. Not die to being overly complicated, but rather due to alignment issues. Every piece seems to need to be in 100% perfect alignment in order to lay flush, click in, and look "right." Even then it's a ride on the struggle bus. On top of that, some of the tabs that click in have gotten stress marks from only a handful of transformations.Overall, a gorgeous figure with some technical and QC flaws. One star off for that.I don't reccomend for children, nor for adults who are frustrated with complicated transformations.

It's just a blast
Had it for about a month now. The figure is (mostly) tight in areas really needs to be, the articulation is superb, and the sculpt is wonderfully G1. My favorite mode is the helicopter mode because the transformation is so fun and the blades are fun to spin. Oh yeah, the transformation is FUN. on a TRIPLE CHANGER?! Yessir, this thing is the Bumblebee's knees. My only real complaint is the legs are the least solid part of this thing. In robot mode, the leg panels aren't the tightest and the ankle pivot is a little too weak. However, the fun in posing it regardless as well as two solid modes and a transformation really make him WORTH it. 8.5/10.

What else to say "It's Springer"
For it's price it's the best money I've spent for what I got for it when it come to Transformers.look screen accurate and it's a triple changer which always is a plus. Plastic is sturdy and built well. Joints are tight and me personally would recommend Springer to all Transformer collectors he has a touch of War for cybertron with that G1 buzz all over him. If you don't get Springer your not a real Transformer fan. Best price I could find was Amazon on Springer. There not always the cheapest on all Transformers but even then I'd rather ny from Amazon because it's going to be packed tight and good and arrive on time if not early.
