Poetic Slimline Case for Apple iPad Mini 2 with Retina, Lavender (840275102937)

I bought this case at the suggestion of my IT fiancé. He owns the black poetic cases for his iPad Mini2. I had the sky blue one first and LOVE it but it randomly broke at the corner and I couldn’t keep it on anymore. I decided it was time for a switch so I picked the "lavender". The lavender is really more of a pink-purple color; I wish it had come in a real purple color. The fit is perfect and it doesn’t add much bulk or weight to the iPad itself, which I love. I also love the magnetic on the front of the case, which turns the iPad off when closed. Good for saving battery power!If you drop the case or have kids who play with your case, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, since my mom’s has broken each time my niece has dropped the case. Would definitely recommend something more like the Otterbox for those type of users. However, for me, this is perfect so I would buy this again.

This case is great for the money. It holds the iPad up sturdy and protects the my iPad when in my book bag. The only thing is it shifts a little which if you have it powered on it turns the screen off and on. I'd suggest just turn off the iPad when not in use. The color is true to advertised.

looks pretty and works well

After returning a different brand case I originally bought on Amazon for my new mini because it didn't fit I was skeptical to try another, but I'm so glad I did! This case fits nicely, has all the cut outs in the correct spots, and the color was just as described. I need to protect the screen when in my purse, it will do that. Don't expect it will provide much protection from drops or mishandling. I especially love that this case was WAY cheaper than the apple Smart Case that I was considering. I could buy 14 of these for the price of 1 apple case.

The mini is so slim and light that I didn't want a case to add much in weight or bulk. This is just what I needed. It is cute and protective without adding bulk or weight. The sleep/wake thing worked perfectly from the start. Mine looks well made and sturdy. I don't know how it will wear, but at this price I am quite pleased with it

Love the case. This is a repeat purchase. A little wear and tear after two plus years of pulling it in and out of my bag, but overall very durable. Decided to get a new color with this purchase. Great product. Have recommended it to friends who have also bought them. And I would buy again as well.

So I bought this because it was cheap and purple. It doesn't look fancy but fits perfect and does everything the way it should. The sleep wake magnet thing is kind of cool but I really don't care about that much. The stand seems fine but probably won't use it for much anyway. Glad I didn't spend the ridiculous amount on the Apple version.
